We have a polydactyl big boy. Part Maine Coon and Blue Russian. Found him in a bush in a Starbucks drive thru I was working at. He just now knocked my garbage can over in my bedroom as I’m describing him. He’s our stink bug☺️

Oh my heart, Benjamin is the sweetest and that little voice totally melts my heart! My son is almost 12 and I miss those baby talking days so so much. Enjoy every second, him and baby brother/sister will be out of the baby stages as soon as you blink!

Laura says, " I don't have much that I want to do today." Proceeds to do a lot of work! I remember talking to the mailman while gardening and he had a slight smile on his face. I went inside and looked in the mirror. I had this tall weed stuck in my hair sticking straight out from the top of my head. Benjamin is such a sweetheart!
Hi Laura! I met you in Cleveland this February at the Great Big Home and Garden show. My parents and I talked to you about how I was looking for my first home, and I'm happy to say I've FINALLY found one and I close next week. I've been binge watching a bunch of your videos, especially ones from last fall so I can get some ideas of things to do once we're settled in! The beds of the house are almost bare which is exciting for me because I get to put in whatever I want! I just want to thank you so much for being a constant inspiration to me, I am so excited to get started on my very own garden and take it from bare bones to something special. Can't believe I just discovered Zinnia, I have A packet in my drawer for the longest time, but I didn't want to spend any more money on annuals, so I sow it in June, now it's blooming some of the most beautiful flowers I have ever seen

Since discovering your channel three weeks ago I've lost sleep--trying to watch all the videos (at my old age I'll never have time to see them all), broken my piggy bank--I'm now the proud owner of 2 power planter augers, my very own drill, the Felco 2 pruners and 4 pair of Atlas Nitrile gloves, and I've learned more about gardening and design than I had in my previous 30 years of "see it, love it, buy it, plant it in any empty space" style of gardening. Aaron is so sweet every time you call and ask for him to help he just comes to help and is so pleasant! Wish all men were like that! Also I am glad you planted zinnias in August I was thinking I had time to get new plants in because a storm took mine out but I wasnt sure they would grow. I’m in virginia and we have high heat through October sometimes into November

I learned 30 years ago that i have a passive AGGRESSIVE helper...asked to pull weeds and all that was not touched was the specific weed i asked and showed him....he has done the similar things...
I planted six different varieties of sweet potato vines in six different containers. Never again! They are such bullies. They have tried to push out everyone else. Yesterday I pulled two of them out and threw them away. I would never have done that before but you have given me permission to do that. Thank you, thank you.

I love zinnias, they take me back to my childhood. Growing up in a beautiful rural neighborhood there was a meadow full of flowers across the street from our house. I was there everyday walking through the field of flowers. There were zinnias,marigolds, hollyhocks, old fashion English rose bushes, wild flowers and so many more! My mom knew where to find me, where the flowers were.
You are such a hardworker, and I loved your garden tour too. I will grow zinnias for the first time this year. Best!!!!
Cheddar seems to be hanging around you more often than usual in the videos. I wonder if he can sense that you’re pregnant and is “protecting” you?
I’ve been noticing that too. And fur babies do sense changes in hormones in women for sure. My daughters puppy kept nibbling at a spot on the top of my hand and I had been keeping an eye on it because it wasn’t healing. Turned out to be skin cancer that was caught early. Happened to another friend of mine as well.

That would be my guess as well. I'm 37 weeks pregnant with my first baby now. Our dog has always been clingy, but our cat has merely co-existed with me, but since I've been pregnant he's been SUPER attached.

I just installed my first drip system after watching about it here on GA, and my plant containers are SO much happier with the slower distribution of water. It was so easy to install, like Legos for adults! Lol, definitely recommend

I planted some zinnias a couple weeks ago here in MI and they are doing great. I am learning how to keep planting throughout the year so I always have flowers and veggies. It is a learning process.

Coffee with Laura, Aaron and Benjamin is always a great way to start my day. Love hearing Benjamin talking so much and his counting was so cute!! It is enjoyable watching the chores getting done as well as new things getting planted. I always forget about zinnias and need to get them on my list as they are such a fun flower. I am hopeful to get some pots planted maybe this weekend and will see if I can find some zinnias to put in. Thank you for the ideas.
We had a six toed cat. The kids named him "Toes".
We had a long haired calico that was polydactyl and her name was "Digit" 😂💕
Karen Untz they are also called Hemingway cats because he was famous for having many polydactyl cats 💕

🌺I planted five year old zinnia seeds in a container on my patio and they are beautiful! The butterflies love them! I’m in southeast Michigan and water then every day now. 💚

This message is to you Laura and Aaron. I’ve been watching you for years and have learned a lot. I remember when you had only 20-30 comments on your videos and now you have thousands of comments and almost a million followers. While watching your videos, I read the comments because I learn a lot from them as well. Lately, I’m beginning to see a lot of rude responses to those that are simply inquiring about something you do or something you’ve said. These people are not being snarky, just curious. Unfortunately and sadly, your “rogue” followers attack these commenters as if they are saying something negative in order to “protect you.” If these followers really paid attention to what your page is about, they would know your a loving and God fearing woman who does most things for others and God. I really hope those people leave your page because they are turning your page into something that most of us don’t prefer.
I’ve been wanting to post this for some time and know I might get “attacked” by making this comment, but I can’t keep reading these negative and berating comments anymore by being silent.

I love giant zinnias everywhere in my garden for a wonderful mid- to late summer colour pop. Unfortunately, they are an absolute earwig magnet! I plant them behind the perennials to hide the lower leaves.
So that's what's eating my zinnia leaves!
