If every area had a PACT meeting, I doubt you'd need to spend so much preparing for a meeting and paying for 140 to set this up. That's extortionate! As is the PCC salary. If there are still questions about visibility after all these years, it is clear that there is a lot more to be done. I was a victim of crime and didn't even get a home visit, which is disgraceful. The Victim Code was breached and not even a PCSO reached out. What forces need to do is retain good officers. Under Teresa May, police benefits were cut, such as pensions needing officers to pay in more and work longer. The result was a mass exodus. Look after your experienced officers, and then you won't need to recruit so regularly (which is very expensive).
