I have both these exact speakers. And just today did a blind listen test with 2 individuals switching back and forth to both speakers at varying volumes and various songs. Repeated same scenarios with each speaker. They knew nothing of my own opinion and at conclusion they both had the exact same opinion as I had. Ended up (while never knowing which speaker they were hearing during any of the testing) the sound quality of the Marshall was a clear winner though the ext4 was a bit louder at max volume. But not at all nearly enough so to overcome the better sound quality of the Marshall. After the test I also played with the JBL equalizer app and still could simply never quite match/duplicate the better quality sound of the kill2. The kill2 is the better quality listening experience over the ext4. And in our opinions it was not a real close or hard to tell type of better sound difference but was a noticeable enough of one from the first part of the blind test. I know people who become brand loyal or own a specific brand can tend to get insulted which is ridiculous. But the Kill2 wins and is what it is. Its just an overall fuller and clearer sound. And it can be had (at least right now) for much cheaper than the ext4. If ones only goal is purely being loudest then the ext4 only slightly wins but the quality of that sound (even being just slightly lower at max volume) of the Kill2 is just a much better listen.
I agree. I owned a Middleton and the sound is better than the xtreme 3 tho xtreme 3 is louder but the sound quality, bass and treble on middleton is way clearer and full.
The power output of XTREME 4 is advertised as 2 x 30 W RMS woofer + 2 x 20 W RMS tweeter (AC power mode) OR 2 x 20 W RMS woofer + 2 x 15W RMS tweeter (Battery mode) So they are suggesting this is now a 100 watt speaker. But the way the specs are written is open to interpretation. My own feeling is this remains a 50 watt speaker on AC power just as the Xtreme 3 is. Neither way, having bots the kilburn still sounds way more open and just better.
People clearly dont seem to know what quality music sounds like. Jbl has quality, period. Marshall has overprocessed upper bass, rest all frequencies are muffled. Since maximum people like it that way, i think marshal has hit the spot.
Quality what?? Clear your ears bro. Im own a jbl party box 320 but On this comparison its marshall who delivers clear sound. Over processed or whatever you called it is more important to hear a great sound..
@@clayinosaint3964 both are equally good overall, but very different. If we talk mid range vocals than marshal rule for sure. If we go for overall balance and clarity, both are very different but equally good. Can't compare, matter of personal taste actually.
Not changing drivers like on the new boombox led to this cute result. At the end of the day there’s only so much sound that these tiny woofers are able to put out. Remember that speakers like these are powered by small batteries so you’re lucky if they put out 30 Watts continuous RMS. not more. nowhere near 100 or whatever they claim. don’t be fooled guys

Wouldn't say that the xtreme sounds worse here, the marshall is just boomy and compressed.
The vocal isn't as good sounding as on the jbl.
It's up to you guys what you beat but for me If i choose better Mashall best for me😊
Marshal makes sure to have everything level while jbl makes sure u can hear the voice no matter what

Overprocessed - true. But not muffled at all. Its as clear as JBl. Jbl has less processing, thats true though.
@@HardeepSingh-kw3wu processed or aint, the important thing is the clarity of the sound.so Marshall stands out

dude 99.9% will listen random pop hit streaming in bluetooth from spotify. They need warm overprocessed sound.

when you plug it in its 100 watts
Marshall definitely gives better quality sound.
Marshall❤❤
Marshall always 👍🏻
Now i will buy killburn 2 instead planning to buy xtrme 4
JBL sounds more natural to the original song
I'm just turned on, the difference in audio, in terms of quality and power, why is it so different? Jbl ❤❤❤
75% and 100%, Jbl xtreme 4 more powerful, but the bass distorded 🤔
Marshall
😢
Ti dispiace per l’Xtreme 4 ?
