Yeah, I've been to Krakow, near Auschwitz, about 8 times & no one in Canada (or my native country) has ever asked me if I visited Auschwitz while there. Though that said, it has been turned into a fairly prominent tourist attraction so it's not completely weird to ask someone if they went there.

I don't see mentioned enough that this show is also fucking hilarious. Lot of good laughs throughout that I think get lost in the discourse about it because of how many other things it does so well. The scene with Tony and Noah is one of the funniest in the history of television.

The show got started in 99. I think the pilot of the show references the pilot of South Park.I grew up in the same kind of house down to the exact building materials, and the show was dead on for the entire time period. I think I was a year or two younger than Meadow and a year or two older than AJ. So these were Millennials with a Gen X experience. We had the Ecstasy parties in the high school we had the threats of military school by the Boomers. Meadows bedroom was dead on. There were a lot of kids like AJ and all the middle-class Boomer parents thought they were the only ones with the kid like that. The show was actually about boomers, in my opinion. " I feel like I came in towards the end of something. Like the best days are behind us. " and it's funny because back in those days we were allowed to make fun of blacks and crackheads and crackhoes all day long at school. And that made it into the show as well 😂

Hey bro, I have watched your channel for years and dont really leave comments hope that you see this. I have a job that I can wear headphones most of the day and I do appreciate your perspective on various things and I have checked out and missed movies and games based on your reviews. Im sorry to hear about your family situation especially with your sister. I dont remember you ever getting too personal on these talks and Its kind of sad that the most triggering part of this series were the family dynamics of the home scenes. I will try to remember to pray for your sister, I have a brother with a similar personality that I dont understand. I am not naturally very sociable and prefer my own company mostly unless I can get into the subjects that you discuss here and that is not very often. I would humbly offer you a little advice about losing weight that I have gained from experience.
-you cant out work a bad diet, unless you are a professional athlete you will never exercise away body fat.
-all weight loss diets are starvation diets, "starvation" is a natural and healthy process that burns fat in place of food.
-if you want to diet dont mess around with counting calories, diet coke or low fat anything, just start skipping meals and get used to the hunger pains. A good milestone goal is eating only once a day, then try for 36 hours or 48. If you can do a 60 hour fast going back to eating once a day is easy and It will pretty much be impossible not to be losing weight.
-that being said weight training produces 5x the calorie burn than any kind of cardio and youll get stronger, but remember exercise is supplemental only starvation will lose weight.
I found that losing weight and being fit helped me be more sociable and attractive and its another way to possibly meet other like minded people irl. Theres literally no downside. Thanks for the channel.

Re losing weight, I find the #1 thing that helps is avoiding cheap unhealthy food. If you're going to eat something unhealthy, make it something expensive. That will inherently limit the unhealthy food you eat. Plus it generally tends to be of better quality anyway.

I love the sopranos. It’s the gift that keeps on giving. Even after watching it many times it still tells fresh. There are so many interesting character arcs each of which could be its own movie.
Apart from that. I also feel isolated during Christmas and family celebrations when all they talk about is climate change, how hard it is to be a woman and similar stuff. Last time a little fight broke out between my female cousin and I because she asked me if I get up at night to change my sons diapers. I told her „no my wife does that because I have to go to work every morning“. She was very accusatory about it. But that’s ok. You need to get out and spend time with people who are my like us. It’s important for one‘s sanity. Take care! Greetings from Germany!

It is kind of exhausting though isn't it? If it isn't from God there's no way I could get strength to fight all this nonsense, and even then I don't because I'm not godly enough... At least you seem to have a supporting wife, God bless your family 🙌

    • @stephanpeterthree
      @stephanpeterthree 27 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

@@marbellaotaiza801it es definitely exhausting ^^ sometimes
It gets me heated. But I know that many of my family members really love me so that makes it more bearable. If they were shitty to me I would consider cutting ties. Also I had now decades to get used to their ramblings. But sometimes it bothers me more and sometimes less.
my wife and I agree on 98% that makes things easier. I would never marry a woman who is like my typical countrywoman and annoys me at home with her stupid political opinions.
Blessings to you too. Hopefully you can find a good relationship with the people who matter to you!

I've been putting off watching this because i never was particularly interested in mafia stories (I did enjoy The Departed though, specially Mark Wahlberg's character) but I did end up quite liking it. The finale when you move away from the actual Sopranos and into more personal and socio political stuff is pure Argent brilliancy, even though some might call it doomer in tone. For me it's less about hopelessness/doomerism than about a feeling of not belonging, which society has been engineered to produce.
I'm eagerly waiting the party stream about justo's resignation. What the future holds, only God knows but like dr. k from healthy gamer says, we should celebrate our Ws, no matter how big of small or enduring. Me, we're closing into being under martial law, waiting for what will happen on January 10th, fearing that nothing will happen, and also fearing that all hell will break loose...
