  • Naturopath Brandon Raynor teaches students how to alleviate sciatic pain and sciatica by doing massage from the feet to the hip.
    This was a demonstration Brandon did during a September 2023 Advanced Raynor Massage Course in London.
    To learn more about Raynor Naturopathic Massage Therapy please see http;//www.raynormassage.com
    Raynor Massage is a type of massage therapy that focuses on releasing tension and stress in the body by targeting specific areas of tension and blockages. It incorporates elements of deep tissue massage, acupressure, and reflexology to address muscular and emotional tension.
    Sciatica is a condition characterized by pain that radiates along the sciatic nerve, which runs from the lower back down through the buttocks and into the leg. This pain is often caused by compression or irritation of the sciatic nerve, which can result from various factors, including herniated discs, spinal stenosis, or muscle imbalances.
    Raynor Massage can be used as a complementary therapy to help alleviate some of the symptoms associated with sciatica. Here are some ways in which Raynor Massage may be beneficial for individuals with sciatica:
    Muscle Tension Relief: Raynor Massage is known for its focus on releasing muscular tension and knots. For individuals with sciatica, targeting tight and tense muscles in the lower back, buttocks, and legs can provide relief and reduce the pressure on the sciatic nerve.
    Improved Circulation: Massage therapy can enhance blood circulation in the affected areas, which can aid in the healing process and reduce inflammation around the sciatic nerve.
    Pain Reduction: By releasing tension and promoting relaxation, Raynor Massage may help reduce the intensity of sciatic pain.
    Stress Reduction: Sciatica can be aggravated by stress and tension. Raynor Massage is also designed to address emotional stress and provide an overall sense of relaxation and well-being.
    It's important to note that while Raynor Massage can be beneficial for some individuals with sciatica, it may not be a standalone treatment. It should be used in conjunction with other recommended therapies, exercises, and medical advice from a healthcare professional.
    Before seeking Raynor Massage or any other alternative therapy for sciatica, it's advisable to consult with a healthcare provider or a qualified massage therapist who can assess your specific condition and provide guidance on the most appropriate treatment plan. Additionally, always ensure that the massage therapist you choose is licensed and experienced in providing massage for sciatica or related conditions.

      Brandon doesn't seem a diva but i suspect he chose London over Barnsley, Liverpool or Preston as it has running water & electricity.

    Serious question Brandon, how long did it take to not take the anger personally? Hope you’re well.

    • @brandonraynor
      @brandonraynor  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +9

      Good question. I tell people not to direct it at me. I tell them it’s fine to release it but that I’m not their punching bag. I will help them to access their anger and get rid of it but they can’t direct it at me otherwise I won’t continue. I have had people direct it at me and I don’t like it.

      Techniques like this are intense because you are breaking down any possible scatia which is a sticky like substance that holds the muscles stiff together. Scatia is what is painful, not the pressure he amounts to the muscle, he is just restoring muscles back to its flexible state in one session or multiple.
