Probably not watching the news is a key I would bet.
Social media can be a real drag. There are so many negative sourpusses out there, including bots and trolls to try to trigger us and make us miserable, angry, and hateful.
We (Bangladeshi) students are currently peacefully protesting against quota,but Student League an organization of the government ambushed us.Nearly two hundred people were injured and many were killed in the attack. At this time we need you very much because the journalists of our country are on the side of the government.They have no news on this issue.They have not promoting about on this issue.Seeking freedom has now become a crime for us.

I think about this a lot. What makes me sad is seeing so many needy people in our society. I can't understand how people who can more than afford to help are so selfish.
As a late-diagnosed middle-aged autistic adult, I can tell you that my late diagnosis changed EVERYTHING about my life and made room for the possibility of contentment, a sense of control, peace, moments of intense joy, a life kinda bordering on a feeling of happiness, probably closer to content - BUT SO MUCH BETTER. I can tell you that GRATITUDE is absolutely something that starts intentionally and kinda superficially and blossoms in to a natural reaction / habit with profound impact. Don't forget to do unto others, be the change, get what you give!I can also tell you that, as an autistic person, other than gratitude and rejecting complacency, making positive choices and keeping healthy decisions as part of your routine... everything else you mentioned for happiness would absolutely be torture to me.
Example, don't chat with me on a bus with the intent of making me happier, don't randomly call me, don't tell me I'm beautiful (ew, risk/vulnerability feeling goes way up no matter who you are).... YOU might feel happier after that, I feel violated and in crisis.
I appreciate these episodes so(ooo) much. I enjoy the topics, the candor, the guests and their demeanor, the sound quality overall and presentation is pleasant on my ears, the through line in general.... Thank you immensely for what you do and how you do it!
I think there are some very wise comments suggesting that not watching CNN is one key to happiness. Unless you enjoy being lied to, or watch simply for amusement.
Step one. Dont watch CNN.
step two. Workout
Step three. Eat less calories.
Thanks for this piece! There should be more advocacy for happiness. In my view, putting yourself in the appropriate state of mind when engaging with others with kindness and positivity may feel like a discipline in the beginning, but it quickly turns into basic hygiene and eventually becomes natural. And you feel so much better in so many situations... 👍

Over analyzing here. My Father was in concentration camp. When he realized he was being released he decided purposely to be happy and thankful as his core therefore any life challenges then became easier and didn’t affect his core which was happiness and who is was and is.
