Seriously those drone shots, unbelievable! A TH-cam vlog shot like a movie. I thought you guys were just building a little cabin, which I love, and then you start posting all this amazing content. Really impressive.
Hi! Thank you so much! We really appreciate your feedback. Thanks for sticking around since the cabin build, we’re bummed to put it on hold, but we will be back to finish it in the Fall.
Your departure from the lodge and transition to out-camp in off-grid Alaska, focusing on fishing guides, is an adventure worth celebrating! Your dedication to exploring remote landscapes and sharing valuable insights is inspiring. And I am Floating Village Life, reveling in your wilderness journey.
Hi guys, great drone shots. This video brings back a lot of great moments I had being a Winter remote lodge caretaker. Sometimes I would stay for the Summer and work. Thanks for the memories.
Was supposed to be in Brooks next week; had to cancel. This is about the best substitute I could imagine: gorgeous shots, seaplanes, and cool people. Thanks for the eye candy...and sharing the insane amount of work!
Btw, I hope you use that Spaghetti Western, slide guitar music again. I keep coming back to watch that scene of you guys in the bush plane and the drone shots over the river. It's just beautiful with the music. Looking forward to your next video.
So I’m really curious where the boats come from when you first land at Sunset 😅 Another amazing video. I am thoroughly enjoying being able to see the dream you always talked about back in high school. Absolutely amazing!
It's great to hear from you Doug! The boats are stashed in the woods along the rivers and lakes that we fish, and we fly out the motors from the lodge in the spring.
Nice update! Are you interested in reviewing our 6-in-1 drinking water tester? It can test bacteria, virus, microplastic, heavy metal, and weed kiiler., etc! We're sure that you'll love it.
Hey Guys, Here in the PNW, we glue Thick Styrofoam under our docks before putting them in the water. Just a thought for y’all on your next project. Cheers !
Would love to see a camp tour of all the buildings. Where is your tent? Any history of the old buildings that were by the tents? How did camp get its name? Also any cooking videos on what you serve guests and what you eat. Just some content ideas, we worked at lodges for many years.
The tents we use were made by Alaska Tarp and tent. Unfortunately, they sold their business to Alaska Gear Company, who no longer builds these style of tents.
Beautiful flight, loved it

Alaska tarp and tent but they are no longer in business.
Can you tell us anything about Quonset hut tents? Are they Alaska structures tents? They are bad ass.
