Great tutorial for long hair Brittani because you even turned around and showed the back! I love that you added the little teasing brush and that you use minimal products as well. I'm always looking for and needing to use gluten free products plus ones that don't have toxic-synthetic chemicals in them as they have respiratory system impacts! But you really went slow and showed me how to roll the beach waver to make a gorgeous look. Thank you for this video! I recently purchased one of these and have been dying to try it, but I’ve been a bit intimated and afraid I’d burn my hair off lol. I’ve searched TH-cam for a good, basic video of someone using one for beginners, and couldn’t find a good one with basic explanations. This video is EXACTLY what I was looking for! Great helpful tutorial. I have very thick hair, especially at the bottom so when I use the beach waver it makes you he bottom real poofy and you he top flat. Do you know what I can do to fix hat?

Is this the 1 inch or 1.25 inch?
What size barrel is this and what temp do you set it on?
I use the Beachwaver S1, it is a 1" inch barrel. I keep mine on 350 degrees. I don't hold it on my hair long and it curls super fast and they last! Here is a link to the exact beachwaver I have: amzn.to/2OcvnF4

I am terrible at using a curling iron mainly because I always get a crease at the end of my hair. How is the beachwaver when it comes to clamping the end of your hair?
I have never had a problem at all with the beach waver leaving a clamp mark. It has happened to me with other curling irons in the past as well. I think because you aren't manually moving the wand because it wraps the hair for you, it prevents making a line.
i get a maaaajor clamp mark but that’s prolly cause i suck at using it

How can you do this tutorial and not know for sure if it is the 1 inch or 1.25 inch?

I go through this and 10 minutes later my hair looks like I never tried to curl it. so disappointing.
What is your hair type? Very straight hair like 1A or 1B is almost impossible to hold a curl. Soft fine hair strands are also harder to curl vs thicker coarser hair strands (most naturally curly haired people have coarser hair). Plus if you tried it on freshly washed hair that makes a difference. Trying it on second or third day hair or using a curl spray before might help.
You need 2 use a heat spray so u dont burn your hair

Hi!! Have you tried hot tools gold curling iron at all? I currently have that and am debating if I should get this instead.... does this hold a curl better than a typical curling iron?
I actually have a few sizes in the hot tools gold curling iron and this has replaced it! You on hold the beachwaver in your hair for 5 seconds or less on each piece and the curls are better & stay longer! I definitely recommend getting the beachwaver. I can't even remember the last time that I used the hot tools curling irons!
