I saw John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band with my at the time fiancé. He kind of made fun of the songs and I nearly tossed his ring back at him! He heard this tune and changed his mind. He passed in 2005 and I just randomly clicked on this video and yeah, I'm not crying, you're crying. It hits so much more now that he's gone.

These are going to be some of the best times of your life. Don't waste them. Sorry, just wishing for the good old days. Like I said, don't waste em'. peace.
Christmas in 2 days 2022 and how I wish you were here. It's been almost 14 years and I still miss you every day. I miss all of us.❤️ They don't write music like this anymore nor such movies.
I absolutely love this song cause it reminds me of when I was a little girl in the 60s. It brings back memories of my older sister and I listening to her records. A time of innocence
After 30 years plus after I seen this film, Suddenly this song comes into my mind today I don't know why, bought back so memories and still can sing along this song. ❤
Yes. My ex wife did not think it was too good and gave me that look like why are you playing this near our end. I was 5 years older then her maybe that why. Damn I miss us and how it use to be.
"Eddie & The Cruisers" movies were part of my childhood in the 80s. Fantastic soundtrack with a realistic depiction of a talent musician dealing with life and the repercussions of being a rock star.
I remember seeing it when it came out. I was 12. Had an instant crush on Michael Paré., or "Eddie". I don't think I was the only one. Smoldering good looks. Forever immortalized as "Eddie Wilson", the mysterious rockstar who you want so badly to believe escaped and is still alive out there somewhere, too cool for fame, but still rockin small little joints all over Europe. AND he has a cool dog named "Elvis". 😁
I'm from Rhode Island and I attended the University of Rhode Island where Beaver Brown was practically the official rock band of the school long before this movie came out. I was fortunate to see John Cafferty and Beaver Brown perform in the 1980s. And maybe best of all, I saw them perform in Boston 2010 at the Hatch Shell on the Charles River. They played this song - SPECTACULAR on a perfect Summer night outdoors.
Michael Pare did an excellent job in the two Eddie movies. He was playing one of William Katt's students in the Greatest American Hero tv series at the time this movie came out.
My second wife loved this music and that movie , sure miss those times , she passed away and I married a 3rd time and am currently working on number 4 and jee whizz is she beautiful , God Bless you all , probably best years of my life without a doubt ❤

Wendell was the true soul of that band along with Eddie, once he died it ruined them and Eddie especially. One reason why I love 2 is he gets another chance with Hilton who was just like him. Rick was his second Frank in his own way. Why I love 2 as much as this one.
Hi Wendell the saxophone player is also the original saxophone player from John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band. He was lucky to be in the movie Eddie and the Cruisers
