I said the same thing. I truly believe Patrick Swayze is rolling over in his grave right now saying WTF. It was way too weak. It's like they tried to tarnish his character in the new movie. Almost like they were making fun of him and tried way too hard to make Jake Gyllenhaal's character like Patrick Swayze, and failed miserably. Nobody can be Dalton Like Patrick Swayze ever.
I saw Jeff Healy at the Bottom Line in NYC back in the 80s. I have never forgotten how incredibly blessed I was to be there to witness how unbelievably talented he was. INCREDIBLE performer taken too soon! Just like Patrick :(

Years back I was spending a weekend in Toronto with a lady friend. Went into a little blues bar downtown on King St.. After making way up a narrow staircase to the second floor of this place, it opened up to a long narrow bar area with a band at the front end. At the bar was none other the Mr. Healey enjoying a cocktail. Escorted by some fine young lady. Had a great conversation with him. Later the band announced a special guest would be jamming with them tonight. Sat right in front of him, absolutely amazing. The girl I was with escorted him back to his bar stool. A truly unforgettable, unplanned night. Remember it like it was yesterday.
