    Where is the door open-closed " switch" ?
    The speed/km from where the signal is coming ?

    Hello Tedo, thank you for your videos, you do a great job ! I just want to ask you if you chare your e-UP to 100% always or 90% or 80% ? I saw some recommendations but I'm not sure what to follow and of course I want to protect my battery; Any recommendation in general with charging or any recommendation for winter charging ? Thank you !

    • @tedonash2681
      @tedonash2681  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      My tips are:
      1. Charge if possible to 80% and discharge no more than 15% from the battery. If you manage to keep this thresholds you will increase battery live at least double.
      2. Charge the car slowly. The original AC charger that comes with the car is perfect.
      3. Try to avoid charging when the car is frozen.

    Wait so actually you're getting about 100km (urban conditions) in 15-20 minutes? That's not that bad

    • @tedonash2681
      @tedonash2681  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes 100 km per 15 minutes. I thought that is bad because the car have limit of 40 kW/h and the charger is capable of delivering 50 kW/h. What is you experience? It will be nice if you can share with us.

      @@tedonash2681 Thanks for doing this video. I think many rapid charging EVs are limited to 40kwh actual charge speed. New Leaf and E-golf both limited to about 40kwh on 50kwh supply. I'm thinking about getting a new Seat Mii electric, and fast charging is quoted as 0-80% in under 1 hour - but that is under 30kwh. Slower still! I'm hoping someone will demonstrate actual fast charging on a new Mii/E-Up/Citigo because some websites quote the rapid charging rate at only 30kwh. Also I think it's really good that you still get 26kwh charge rate at 89% full. I expected that to drop to 7kwh after 80%. That means it is worth waiting charging for a bit longer after the 80%.

      @@tedonash2681 There is no such thing as kW/h. The power is 40kW and the capacity is in kWh. In 1 hour you get 40kWh on 40kW, but you still use kW and kWh properly...The car is not tappered to 40kWh or 40kW/h but 40kW.

    • @marcusbiller867
      @marcusbiller867 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      And furthermore it seems the car did 42kW on avg if the charger is to be trusted with 14kWh in 22 minutes, but there might have been some heat losses so it probably avged lower than 40kW inside the car.

    • @tedonash2681
      @tedonash2681  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Let’s do the maths
      You have 32.3 kWh usable capacity of the battery.
      By spec you should be able to do from 0 to 80% for about an hour.
      You have 15% so this is around 5 kWh left in your battery which can be charged for about 10 minutes.
      You have charged 7.11 kWh for 15 minutes. So for 45 minutes you can charge 21.33 kWh + 5 kWh left = 26.33 kWh which is slightly above 80% for 55 minutes which sounds almost like on the spec. Please keep in mind that I am rounding.

Every single car manufacturer now are making new and new EV models so while waiting for our choice other models will come which are better with the same price. Само да ти кажа че на новия e-up му дават 60min за пълен заряд на батерията, което е далеч от 40kW усреднена мощност за час. Ако можеш повече клипчета с разходки и почивки, нещо от типа на Bjorn Nyland, или модификации на колата. Впрочем аз ти писах на e-maila преди време, навярно някой ден ще се засечем на зареждачките, карам C-Zero Citroen сребърен. Успех с влоговете.

      Ma e-Up 2.0 de 2021 perd des barres de puissance avant 90% de SOC et elle ne charge pas à plus de 25kW de puissance moyenne. Par contre son autonomie et sa consommation sont très basses. Mon record lors d'un rallye à été de 7,3kWh/100km 😊
