    Viewed (4) different install and programming videos on TH-cam, this is by far the most precise and easy to follow guide, very well done!

      Thanks for the compliment. I hope you were able to get the programming done ok!

      Programming was a breeze, in order to get speedometer to equal GPS, had to down size actual tire size by an inch…

    I just took delivery on my ‘22 PW and your videos have been extremely helpful. For example, had no idea you needed to reprogram the computer after changing tires. Thank you for sharing.

      I'm glad they helped! Enjoy your new truck.

    Alpha OBD allows you to lower tire pressure thresholds and change tire size also.

    I have the Z automotive taser ram for my 2019 power wagon. I believe currently they only support up to the 2021

    Thanks for this. Just got a 24 power wagon. Is there no wiring harness for the new rams? You just plugged in the Pro-Calc snap. Other video show the wiring harness have to be connected under the dash. Do you not have to do that with the newer ones?

      I have another video on this channel that shows how to wire it up.

    Looks like you're still running the stock suspension (shocks and coils), are you getting any rubbing with articulation off road. I notice those are the CJC wheels with the proper offset to run 37s but curious if there is proper spacing during off road use. Thanks for the great vids!

    • @goofingoffroad
      @goofingoffroad  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      You are correct - the suspension is stock and I'm running the CJC wheels with 37s. I get a littl rub at full lock when the spring is compressed at the front. Otherwise, I've had no issues running the 37s on trails. Go for it!

    I think I may have missed something. If the recommended tire pressure was supposed to be 45 PSI front and 40 PSI rear, why did you set it to 35 PSI? I'm going to have to do this to my truck as well. Since I leveled and put 37s on my truck, the tire pressure light has been on and the speedometer is slightly off. Thanks in advance.

    • @goofingoffroad
      @goofingoffroad  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      When the tires are cold, or if you're traveling to a different altitude, your tire pressures may drop below 40psi. I set the pressure for the TPMS alert to 35psi to allow for a small margin of lower pressure before the alert goes off, so that it's not bothering me all the time. you could always set it to 40psi and see how you get on with it, and lower it if you don't like the way the TPMS system behaves.

    I had just purchased a PW 2022 very interested in correcting speedo. I had up graded to Cooper Discover 35`s

      I wasn't able to get the 37 to fit. There wasn't enough room between the sway bar and the tow hitch.

    Will the AEV ProCal SNAP work with the new digital instrument cluster. I have a 2023 2500 Power Wagon with the updated digital dash. Thanks.

      I'm not sure - you'd have to check with AEV on that one.

      @@goofingoffroad I ended up getting my truck taken care of. My friend is a mechanic for Honda and has the computer needed. I only had to buy the unlock cable. He set TPMS and Speedo for 35’ tires.

  • @ShaneEstabrooks

    A 37 should be about 36.5.. I have 35's that measure 34.5 and approx 34.8 the latter has thicker lugs

    • @goofingoffroad
      @goofingoffroad  ปีที่แล้ว

      You're correct - the tires are usually smaller than the "size" written on the side of the tire. They will also be a differnt "height" when measured on and off your vehicle. In my case, when the 37" tire is inflated to the correct pressure and it has the weight of the truck on it, it is compressed to 35.5" from top to bottom. Using this measurement means my speedo is spot on, You may have different results.
