i've played a lot with pmc in modded squad, and i gotta say, OWI really nailed the pmc vibe but still made it unique and different with modded squad. they also really played into their positive trait, top notch gun. id if it just me, but i feel like i always outgun the enemy with new gun like m14 and wormpool AR.
The lack of scopes has really been detrimental... For me atleast. Even IMF has scopes for their LAT's, HAT's and Grenadiers, but the PMC doesn't even sometimes have binos😭😭 Playing grenadier without 4x or binos is SO HARD😭 But hey atleast i have 14 grenades with the M230
I have had *so* much fun with WPMC so far. The ability to move around so much is insane, I love it. Working with a Loach as an Anti-Tank team, whether being dropped off or riding in a CPV Transport while the Loach acts as a scout is some of the most fun I've had in this game.
Mp5 fucks, i got one of my first over twenty kill infantry rounds since the ico. Excellent for home defense, especially paired with those impact frags ;D
@@Slay3Kilo the other fun thing I've found is that the loaches seem to fly by throttle, cause of how lightweight they feel whipping around, while the other helis seem to fly by the stick more and glide better. Those little helis just wanna go! Ive put like six into the dirt with audiences so there's a learning curve for sure!!! Doesn't help that I'm bad at the game too XD
WPMC are bloody great for teams that are well coordinated or understand speed and aggression at the right times and place. This faction will wreck poorly communicated teams and singled out armored units. It’s insane

WPMC has one of the strongest anti tank infantry set ups I’ve seen in a while, 1 Tandem and 2 HEAT and 1HE on a hat? 2 LAWs on a LAT? WPMC shouldn’t be losing to armor on the defensive. The hat itself can reliable kill almost anything, the lats can blow tracks off anything disabling vehicles.
Experienced that infantry AT ability really hard. Russian Ground Forces vs WPMC on Invasion was nasty for my T-90 we had pretty decent infantry cover but when we advanced we got blown up within 5 seconds of first Anti-Tank rocket hit. I guess it was also bad luck and positioning because I counted 4-5 rockets hitting us in that small time amount.
@@jack.j5404 oh totally hot dropping on point is impossible against WPMC, its very much a keep your armor about 300m away from point and suppress inf while your inf has to grind through positions, WPMC is an inf nightmare aswell since they have the most variety between long range and cqc weaponry. even tanks arent safe, the lats can 100% track you with 2 rockets at their disposal, mean while the Hats have enough firepower to solo kill a tank
Not only that, all of their sub faction always have 4 Hats. I've seen 3 Hats + couple more Lats ambush 2 warriors. Those warriors is dead within less than 10 seconds.
We tested the WPMC minigun on Jensen on Unn, it can penetrate some vehicle windows and kill the crew if you shoot long enough. Doesn't do any armor damage tho.
For 9 years the developer could not implement loading SKS with magazines if there are still shots in the magazine. There is still a critical bug with the inability to reload ANY weapon. A full insurgent upgrade is absolutely necessary. An unarmored pickup costs the same 5 tikets as a RWS MRAP. Armored vehicle interiors? It's too complicated, it's not 2006 and no one will make details as it was in Red Orchestra. Instead we have another faction using AR15 and AK74.
I love it, but im kinda concerned that it took them 9 months to add a faction that is mostly reskins, dont get me wrong i love the update, i just wonder how it took them 9 months
Understandable, but it’s not a huge team.. and you have to consider that there were other updates within the past 9 months.. it’s not like nothing else has released in that window along with the fact that they have other stuff on the way they’ve already showed.
This faction needs to be treated like insurgents with a budget. Vehicle hunter-killer teams. Set up some m14s on infantry push routes, and have your mp5 guys absolutely shred whole squads with cheeky flanks as they try to set up HABs on objectives
I think the WPMCs are cool. They kinda feel like irregular militia with very strong AT tools for their infantry and subpar vehicles. What they lack in raw firepower they definitely make up for with speed. It’s not my preferred play style but I can see a lot of teams getting good usage out of it
The Loach is too easy to shoot down with small arms and the MSV is too much of a ticket liability. I also don't like that you can have so many marksmemes, which takes up a fire support slot that could be better used. The weapon variety, miniguns, and vehicle interiors are great though.
@@Slay3Kilo A regular logi is worth 4x less tickets and can build multiple HABs. Normal HABs are easier to hide, harder to take out, and you can build emplacements around them. The purported advantage of the MSV is that it's quicker to deploy, but a logi is faster and quieter, therefore a better tool for an attack HAB. Maybe a highly coordinated team could come up with some interesting strats with it, but I feel like they should have made it more like the MSP in Squad 44, which is as fast as a logi truck and worth half the tickets of a radio, so people actually use them.
It was on my mind, didn't forget them I just opted not to go super far in depth on it. I did bring up the aspect of the AT drops from the loach scout and some solid armor scouting with it.. but frankly the CAS hasn't seemed that beneficial yet, at least from what I've witnessed. That's partially because of their issues and also the learning curve, I'd imagine. I felt like the other things I mentioned were more consistent in the games I've played.
@lxnobodyxl2031 they really, really aren't. It LITERALLY, and I mean Literally, takes one rifle round to destroy the engine completely and take it down. Don't be ridiculous.
Thanks to the new graphs at the end of the game I can see just how many vehicle tickets PMC faction are losing each game. It's ridiculous how quickly these flimsy vehicles get destroyed
Does anyone know decent servers that are actually all about team base, I've been playing on potato fields and it just seems like the leadership has just gone way down and I get it the server is supposed to be to for new players
Experienced Preferred servers are usually better when it comes to command and team structure. I’d recommend EGC or for some decent teamplay, although it’s pretty much a gamble most times.

@@stolt8045When a server starts up and they are trying to get new players, the server is in a private gamemode called “Seeding”. Basically it decreases the map sizes by a lot, removes the ability to create HABs and gives less objectives when there are less than a certain number of players in the server, I think it’s below 50. Once it goes over that player count it’ll revert back to standard gamemodes.

I agree with this! I feel very strong while playing infantry and the team also seems strong from that same perspective

M4 with acog is perfect for 20 plus. Same with iron m249 on tight maps. Now you just need 20 kills with the knife

I really love the HAT kit with the godly MP5, I'm more of a Medic guy, but the WPMC made me love the HAT kit, 4 shells with the Carl Gustaf is crazy.
My favourite weapon of the update is the m14. It is really fun to use it on cqb, and it feels way more controllable in full auto than the fal or g3

I really like the mobile spawner it gives the enemies a good reason to have partisan style attacks even if their not geared for it

8.0 was released about 3 months ago. They're on a quarterly update cadence (roughly).

I feel like enough people are talking about it and it doesn't play that big of a factor right now.. IMO.

Loach issue is a bug, I think.. I don't think its meant to be that easy to knock out. MSV is a ticket liability but it's very strong to use.

Such a infantry focused faction, love the speed and sheer amount of toys you get to fuck up anyone really.

Check out BB Blood Bound its an EU server thats pretty good in terms of gameplay compared to others

I play some on Unnamed and have had good experiences.
I had a bad tanker experience couple years ago on that server. I waited in an 18 person q too. The squad lead was an asshole and bad driver
Love the new faction , but the new update has been borderline unplayable due to crashes and FPS drops (had zero prior)
