- The TDS Enduro located in Grass Valley, CA which started as Ron's (the founder) birthday party and turned into one of the most fun races for elite athletes and maybe more so for spectators. It is packed full of technical riding and good times with stages that the spectators are encouraged to participate in. We had such a fun time analyzing line choices and joining the heckling as we made the spectator pilgrimage from stage to stage.

You guys are the best cheerleaders any elite athlete like myself could ever ask for🙏🏻😂
haha you are the best Cbass! It was awesome seeing you race the TDS! Maybe next year we can do it together haha
Hey Everyone! Thanks for checking out this video! The trip to spectate the TDS came together really last minute and the idea for a line choice video popped up on the drive to the venue. If you like this type of content and would like to see a more in depth one in the future let us know! We would be happy to do one with some more editing and more features highlighted!
More indeed! Thanks for the work.
Yes please. This is awesome for all of us amateur racers picking terrible lines. This video was great.
Dig it!
Thanks for watching!!
Haha it happens to all of us!
You guys are the best. Kyle showing the lines and analyzing them was such great insight, even for us slow guys
Thanks so much J! Glad you found it helpful an interesting! It was a fun one to make!
I just am happier when I watch these videos. You and April have an infectious positivity that I appreciate. This track looks so gnarly. Loose af
That’s so cool to hear Aaron! Thank you so much for watching! We will always try to keep them positive!
Great video! So glad I got a chance to hang at the TDS Enduro this year!
Thank you, it was great hanging out as well! See you again soon!
What a fun video!!!!!!! Keep up the good work Kyle & April!!!! Ride Safe!!!
Always great to get your notes on line choice.. Spectating a race is fun, add the bonus of not getting hurt like you could if you're riding. Any time your out there, at any event, riding or watching makes the experience for everyone involved. So don't just sit home . . . get involved!
Kyle, as always your trail insight is invaluable!
I loved this video! That looks like such a fun event for riders and spectators. Kyle getting all nerdy and April grinning like the Cheshire Cat made it so fun to watch 😁
Haha glad you loved it! 😁🤓
Now thats a proper race. So much fun with the crowd. Everybody celebrates for all reasons.
“You’re such a nerd” 😂 I was geeking out right along with you bro 🤓
Haha thats what its all about!
That long jump was insane. How the hell they slow down before the corner!!!
Great video about even greater event, the vibe from all spectators is awesome 😎😊
Well they all couldn’t slow down haha it was pretty insane how fast it was, they had a speed radar gun and some were hitting high 50s I believe.
Sick video you guys, love the line insight!! We can feel the vibe through the video, must've been awesome the be there in person to take it all in!! 🤘😄🤘
Looks like everyone is having a blast. Love this video!
Thanks so much Jim! It was a blast, definitely a great event to check out if you ever get a chance!
Sneaky great interview at the end too! Stay wavy, Ron. 🙌
Thanks Ward!!
Fantastic video, love the live line-choice analysis. Seems like a super fun event.
Thanks so much for watching!!
My husbands says instead of picking a line Kyle, you should pick a ring! 😜 Kidding, awesome video as always!
Great educational and entertaining video about real-time line choices. The “slapping” looked really fun too!!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks for getting my long jump crash on footage! That was a wild ride 😂🤘
Haha stoked to get it, that was a wild one! Props for getting up so fast too!
What a fun rowdy atmosphere! Glad you got a good balance of showcasing the event itself along with the line choice concept as just learning about the race itself was super interesting, while the line analysis added a little more depth too. Also I love your Osmo 3 + Mic setup with all of the rubber bands lol.
Thank you, glad you liked our spin on attending the race! It’s funny you caught that, Kyle was trying to figure out a setup and I gave him my hair tie for it and it held well all day haha
Thank you for giving your analytical take
Always interesting to see how riders take different lines. This was great :)
Thank you!
Awesome video guys! Randy is a legend and comes from a long line of Novato shredders!!
Big Fan!! Your videos get me pumped up to ride!!
Thats awesome! Thats definitely the goal! Thanks so much for watching, hope you have a good ride haha!
That chicane section still highlights how even in MTBing, the same racing principals can apply.
The whole idea is to set you up for the hard right hander and to do that, you'll need to tuck left sooner so you widen the right hander. You do that easiest the way Kyle describer.
Same thing in almost every other form of racing.
Yeah so true! Setting up the smoothest arc is so much fun to try and figure out!
I definitely think real world examples of line choices would make for some great videos, I like the arrow graphics as well. I've been watching a lot of World Cup DH lately (re-runs), and Eliot Jackson was pretty good at explaining little line choices with the arrows overlayed on the first person course preview. Makes me want more!
Glad to hear you liked the line choices, we hope to do more soon 😊
Such great insight!
Thanks! We really hoped this could be a fun one for people that enjoy the small details!
Great insights! Keep it up
Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed it!
Lol internet superstar😂😂😂😂
Great video! Would love to see more. I know a kid that will ride your line choices for comparison😊… And next year we will be going to this event, it looks so fun!
Glad you enjoyed it and that it sparked some interest in attending! It was so much fun!
Great video,also technical details..keep going
Thanks so much for watching! Really appreciate your support too!
Awesome video .Great content .you got the knack of getting it right ✅
Thank you!
Looks like a blast. Maybe I’ll get a visit next year
Awesome video guys like always ❤❤
Thanks so much Jose!
It would be cool to have April out on some trail and have her do a section then Kyle and April can analyze how to do it better and try it out. Really think there is a large place for this sort of tutorial content, feels more real instead of isolated best case scenarios.
We agree! I bet Kyle could improve my time so much with just line choice alone and it would be interesting to see how much it would improve and how hard or easy it would be to hit his line suggestions.
Thanks for your insights, Kyle! The more you know... where can I get a version of the shirt April is wearing? Love it!!
Great video as always. Looks so much fun. I am a retired photojournalist and looks like there are some great opportunities for some cool images. Pedal safe. Have a great weekend
Thanks so much Gary! Yeah there is a lot of great photo ops out there!!
You guys are fantastic! Very informative video once again. I always come away learning something! I just wish it would stop raining up here in Ontario CAN... argh!
Thank you!
Awesome. Loved the chicane footage. There's a chicane (sorry, "traffic calming device") that one can take without braking and only one turn of the wheel if set-up correctly. Not unlike the straight-ish line you were recommending. I'm the only member of the family who gets excited about such things. 😆
Haha that’s awesome! Yeah definitely takes a certain type of person to love those little lines! I’m the same way with driving too haha. So satisfying
Didn’t realize you guys had a second channel - subscribed!
Thanks for the sub!
Hope you hit some of the local trails while you were in the area.
We need to explore more actually! Haven't ever ridden GV or Nevada City!
Sickkkkkk
Thanks!!
It might be the camera angle but that looked a little dangerous.
Haha definitely could be a little dangerous but we tried to stay out of the way!
Did you say he’s in the women’s class?
Not sure when you think you heard that, but if it’s referring to c-bass then he was in the e-mtb class.
