I used to wind a bit of bandage in a figure of 8 around the clays of infected hooves after treatment, fixing it with an old fashioned split at the end of bandage to tie it at the top. It stays on just long enough to keep the antibiotic in contact. You can tear up a bit of old sheet to make the bandages to save money. Karol don’t let the health and safety police catch you without a helmet.

Great video. That woolly sheep that you were milking got me thinking why do you shear your hill sheep in late summer? Would it not make sense to shear them before you put them back onto the hill?
Myself and Dad would have posted all that section for Mary about 10 years ago or so, so post got more than the expected 6 - 7 years.

Did you do the new safety training course for using a quad, its mandatory now?
Karol I hate to be a spoil sport & I can see you work extremely hard but if you’re going to post items of you driving on a quad you should consider the latest rule about wearing a helmet. I realise it’s a pain but !! I believe you’re also leaving yourself open to prosecution not to mention the risk of injury. Keep up the good work & stay safe.
Agreed! Your audience is international (I’m from the US myself), and health and safety fines and the time required to straighten everything out, is something no farmer has available during lambing season. Get yer helmet, Karol!
And wear a helmet if you don't wear one
