My name is Karol Devaney and I'm a Hill Farmer and Sheep Shearer from Sligo in the Northwest of Ireland. 💚
Every week I put up Vlogs of what I'm getting up to on the farm, plus the odd podcast with special guests. 🥰

I’ve always thought your Mayo Blackface were the prettiest Blackface type. They perform perfectly for your conditions, which isn’t surprising considering they are truly grazing exactly where the breed was developed. I know your flock is raised organically, and I hope that gets you appropriately organic prices. So glad Miss Stuck In the Fence had her lamb safely!
Yes they're good for the marginal hill land Pat! 😁
You need to be doing a Bita roaring and shouting at the auld fella Karol to be like the sheep Shepard 😅
😂😂
5:54 😅😅😅😅
Great video, it must be nice to have farmers from abroad and show how we farm here, and yours is a great farm to show ❤
Great video showing your farm.
You know I would love to go on a working holiday to a farm like yours. I prefer to be out doing things like this- keeps me young and spry.
It's the best way to be Colleen!
Great lambs, God keep them safe on the mountain
Excellent video again thanks for sharing a farmer's work is never done
You're most welcome Terry. 🔥
Wow

🥰💗💗
Good stuff
Great video Karl 👌
Glad you enjoyed it Gary
Love the video
Great video karol. What fly cover did you use on the lambs? Where did you buy those hurdles you were using for the pen in the field?
It is a stress break
It takes a lot of protein to grow horns, but without them, how did they make shepherd’s crooks?. The meat from those wiry little sheep is healthier eating than the grain fed. Meat from grass as nature intended. I have to confess, I much prefer NZ lamb, they make the best product in the world slaughtered at the optimum time and probably hung too. Years ago, my husband worked in what was freezer and general cargo ships. The NZ lamb was well hung in the chiller holds by the time it arrived in Britain. Also meat from mainly grass and perhaps fodder crops.
In order to become a sheepshepherd you have to ride side saddle ready to jump off.
Lambs look great mate 👌 what sort of weights do they hit when finished?
Do you guys run cattle or more sheep at home in the sheds? I see the silage stack there?
Cheers mate, we normally sell as stores bar the very best ones
Some cattle there belonging to the uncle. 😁
Sheep Theme Song; “Dumb Ways To Die” 🎼🎶🎵
Those little horned sheep are feisty. 😊❤️
😂😂
Hi Karl what's the two orange patches of paint on the ewes and lambs back represent?
It's one of our marks, sheep in Ireland are generally marked for identification.
jesse - there's lots of real estate north of boston......can you narrow it down
I bet he’s from New Hampshire because whenever I travel, no one’s heard of it. Gets tiring, so I just say north of Boston. Everyone heard of Maine and Vermont though 😂
I think he said new England possibly?
@@ewetube.videos yes, my point exactly 😄 New Hampshire is inside New England, and so is Boston 😅
When do u dose the lambs
They are fine strong lambs ❤
What sort of dog is Casey
Border Collie! 😁
🐨👍
Haven't heard the word elder (udder) in years
Lol picked it up off the old boy 😂
