I have purchased Celtic sea salt three years ago and it was recommended to me by an homeopathic doctor. I liked the taste and texture of it very much.

Hypothyroidism is caused by iodine deficiency so no. Bad advice.

Celtic salt will balance hypothyroid. Also consider waking up to sunlight and bringing your vit d levels.

Tough call. The Himalayan Sea salt has a very interesting background but overall taste and appeal goes to the Celtic Sea Salt. The taste, color and texture is great all the way around. I have more of it around so I eat more of it.

Hi Nancy, the salt goes through a filtration process through the canals. If you watch one of our latest videos, our founder Jacques shows this filtration process.
