    Get a Holosun 3X Magnifier and enjoy how this baby turns into a 400 yard shooter. Also a nice flashlight to complete it. If you experience more malfunctions, replace the ejector with MCARBO. It solves all issues of this rifle.

  • @ericb.4358

    I bought this "chassis" carbine version partly B/C I was fed up paying $1.00 PER ROUND for 5.7 x 28 ammo for my FN PS90.
    I've totally upgraded my RUGER PCC with MAGPUL, MCARBO, TANDEMKROSS, TACCCOM parts and a HOLOSUN AEMS circle/dot sight. Now I'm ready for Steel Challenge competition. My RUGER PC may be homely but it is now BADASS and utterly reliable.

    • @LakesnWoodsOutdoors
      @LakesnWoodsOutdoors  ปีที่แล้ว

      PS90's are a badass gun too, as someone who isn't part of a gun club I like the fact I can just take out this rifle wherever, whenever. So far I added some Magpul, Daniel Defense & Tandemkross accessories, running a Vortex Sparc AR, thinking about getting a Streamlight flashlight and maybe I brake in the future.

    • @ericb.4358
      @ericb.4358 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You really need to get an MCARBO extractor and the bolt pins that come with it. The RUGER extractor is stamped and won't last much more than 800 to 1,000 rounds. TheMCARBOextractor is hardened tool steel that is precisely CNC machined. I also like the TANDEMKROSS Victory trigger and their ambidextrous LEVER safeties, replacing the clumsy RUGER button safety. For +P or +P+ ammo functioning I recommend the TANDEMKROSS or MCARBO heavier bolt recoil spring.@@LakesnWoodsOutdoors

    Great video!! Just got one, can’t wait to try it out. Thought the mags had to pinned to 5rds though because it’s technically a “rifle” even if it’s pistol calibered? Hence the 5rd pinned glock drums they sell for it?

    • @LakesnWoodsOutdoors
      @LakesnWoodsOutdoors  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      If you're referring the the MagPul Drum, they're pinned at 10 as well, being that their original design was for a handgun, it creates sort of a loophole in the regulations allowing you to use them and other handgun magazines with a capacity of 10 cartridges in your PCC. Same goes for LAR-15 magazines in AR pattern magwells.

      Chargers are restricted in Canada, with the current political climate majority of stores refuse to bring them in due to the possibility of them being banned at any given time, I would ask your local dealer if they’re able to special order one for you

    • @LakesnWoodsOutdoors
      @LakesnWoodsOutdoors  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@Kevin_drinks_Lead I just tested it out here and the magazine does lock into place with the bolt closed, but the force I need to put on mine with a maximum capacity mag is almost unreasonable, I really have to force it in for it to lock into place with my particular magazines, I tested with less cartridges in the magazine and it did make it easier, I think with most of my magazines being relatively new that the spring tension might be a bit too much and they're pressing against the bolt too hard and it's just barely surpassing the magazine locking piece.

    You’ll have better luck keeping zero if you put your red dot on that pic rail on the barrel.

    • @LakesnWoodsOutdoors
      @LakesnWoodsOutdoors  ปีที่แล้ว

      It'll give me a better view of my surroundings that's for sure, though I haven't had any issues with keeping zero, torqued to spec with blue loctite. I like it where it is because the Sparc AR has a bit of a more narrow tube than what I have ran in the past so it's not as large of a sight picture as some other red dot/optics, having it where it is makes me feel a bit more comfortable with my accuracy.

      I am running PMAG 10 Glock G17 9mm 10Rnd mags, they also make PMAG 17, 21 and 27 as some other common and notable models, the sizes of those magazines are far better for operation in my opinion, but didn't feel the need to buy larger mags when we can only hold 10 rounds to begin with.

    • @LakesnWoodsOutdoors
