@@TestarossaF110 At the very beginning, with the Ubisoft logo. Actually, looking back at it, I now notice Blitz's riot shield from R6 Siege, a tattered American flag like in Far Cry 5, and a snowboard like in Steep. They really ARE tying everything together.

Yet another video to entice people to pre-order a game, when they haven't released much info about it. The marketing for the game so far seems to be just pre-order the game. When will we get some real info?
Marketing is typically to increase sales. The more money they make, the more money they can put into the game and other Ubisoft games. The Division 2 beta is in less than 3 weeks - date leaked by Sony.

I just think they would have more people pre-order the game (hence make more money to put into it or others) if they gave more information...system specs for PC, dark zone details that were teased to be released in December ect. Hell, since the beta is 3 weeks out, why not run a campaign showing new features or video and explain if people preorder the game they can get invited into the beta. I know they explain that on the pre-order page, but why not run TV spots? Try to bring in more people into the game than just the ones who knew about the first one? More advertising means more interested people, and more pre-order money coming in. Get more people hyped for the game, not just the veterans of the series.

Ubisoft are very transparent compared to other development companies. Maybe they've realised the more info they share, the less effective the hype is later on. Or maybe early info causes negative impact in the community. All I know is they have dedicated teams for this kind of stuff. So what they do/ do not and when they do it has been well planned in several meetings and such. As marketing strategy can make or break a game costing millions.
Yeah, but it works though. This particular game is set in DC. That whole place is just...poop. And politicians. And a politician is just twice the poop in half the space. They open their mouths and the poop comes out. I just like the little Dedsec logo - just goes to show that all the Ubisoft games really are interconnected.
