Corey May: Lead writer for AC2 he eventually left Ubisoft to pursue other ventures. 3. Jade Raymond: Producer for the early Assassin's Creed games she left Ubisoft in 2014 to join EA and now works on her own studio called haven studio.
AC2 felt so magical in 2009. The moment you start controlling Ezio in Florence and the music kicks in, it was clear AC2 was going to be one of the best games of the generation.

Patrice Désilets had quite a knack for this series. I wonder how the fate of Assassin's Creed would have unfolded if he hadn’t been fired from Ubisoft.
I recently found out that Patrice's company has bought back the rights to 1666 Amsterdam, the passion project he was working on after he got fired from Ubisoft. But after two years of work, Ubi took over THQ and pretty much kicked him out again and held the project hostage. So here's to hoping we may get to see it being realized some day..

As a fan of the original SC and PoP Trilogy that paved the way for AC; hurts to see Ubi's financial situation. I recently made a John Wick style montage using Splinter Cell Blacklist stylish takedowns. Looks badass with some cyber punk I used. If only we got a Wick game from Ubisoft. They had the right tools from SC and Watch Dogs. Too late now...
The AC: Ezio Trilogy will always be my most favorite AC series. In addition, contemplating the era of the Renaissance brings more excitement to the gameplay.

I remember getting taught in school stuff about Italy and I was able to point out and say the name of historical buildings and historical people and that surprised the Teacher just from me playing Ac2 that's what assassins creed was about for me on top of being a fun game.
Back when Ubisoft actually cared for the player and the product they were delivering. Honestly I wish that there was more regional languages present in AC2. I was just thinking about it last week. The Ezio trilogy is a masterpiece, but tbh, I would’ve gave Ubisoft bonus points if they actually did research and put in the Venetian and Romagnol dialects for AC2, and the Romanesco dialect in Brotherhood too. Usage of different words, etc. it would’ve made you feel like you were in different parts of Italy and back then not everyone was speaking in standardized Italian or Tuscan(like Ezio was). I also would’ve liked to hear some Catalan in Brotherhood between Rodrigo and Cesare and the rest of the Borgias. That would’ve been interesting to hear it!
Love this game to death ❤ The entire Ezio Trilogy is peak AC, even after many many replays it still amazes me every time... thank you for creating these masterpieces!
