Lyrics: They say that there's a hole in the atmosphere The things you think will last disappear When you were ready to say I do Somebody lowered the boom on you Now you need a sympathetic ear Tell me about it Tell me about teardrops in the dark Tell me about it Tell me about your broken heart You say you need someone to hold you tight (You) can't stand another lonely night Well come closer and Tell me about it Love isn't always true it hurts sometimes Your tears will tell on you girl, I'm not blind I know what you're goin' through I graduated from that school too If you need a shoulder cry on mine Tell me about it Tell me about teardrops in the dark Tell me about it Tell me about your broken heart You say you need someone to hold you tight (You) can't stand another lonely night Well come closer and Tell me about it You took a lesson in playin' a fool I graduated from that school too If you need a shoulder cry on mine Tell me about it Tell me about teardrops in the dark Tell me about it Tell me about your broken heart You say you need someone to hold you tight (You) can't stand another lonely night Well come closer and Tell me about it
What a treat, to see Tanya back strong, mature, strong and making great music with Delbert, whom I had not seen yet. I 1st saw Tanya Live in Concert in San Diego, about 1972 or 1973, when she was 14 or 15. Tanya still Rocks Hot!-:)
Love these two performers!! Delbert retired but sure wish he hadn't. He left us some of the greatest songs ever written!! And what can you say about Tanya? A legend!!!
I remember when Tanya came out with "Delta Dawn" in 1972. I loved her then and I still do! She looks fantastic and you can tell how much she still loves entertaining!
this is the song that I first heard Delbert Mcclinton. I remember saying who the heck is that! I recently rediscovered Delbert on TH-cam. I watch his videos every night. he is unique and definitely one of a kind! sure nuff!!!
robert stephens I go to 70s outlaw and what I call 80s thru mid 90s user friendly country..lol Like Dwight, Steve Earle, Steve Wariner less on the whaa hoo yahooing stufg
I was lucky enough to work security for Tanya at the Washington County Fair (Wisconsin) in 2001. My friend was suppose to bring a guitar of mine for her to sign but he never showed up so she signed my 💪. She said it’s the only one she ever sign. I got a great picture of it. She also signed a Delta Dawn album cover for me. Wonderful lady.
Why do you have to bash Taylor Swift? Tanya will always be ONE of the Queens of Country - however, she would not appreciate you bashing a young up and coming star. Remember, stars like Tanya, Loretta, Patsy, Dolly and others broke the ground for the pathway so we could have beautiful young ladies like Taylor Swift. Is Taylor my style - not really. Is she perfect for her genre - absolutely. Is she a doll - absolutely. How about if women be sisters instead of catty attackers of fellow females.
1 RECENTLY HATE IT! WHY? WHEN I HATE SOMETHING I HAVE THE COURTESY OF SAYING WHY? NO CAHOONES HUH? I KNOW NOT EVERYBODY LOVES HER BUT IF NOT JUST LEAVE OR SAY WHY IT LETS THE PERFORMER KNOW ALSO! HER HIPS STARTED MOVING AS A YOUNG LADY AND HAVE NOT STOPPED! A FEW PEOPLE CAN SING LIKE HER, AND AT HER AGE SHE CAN STILL HAVE ANYMAN OR WOMAN SHE WANTS!
Tanya's stage presence is excellent. Think of one other entertainer male of female that seems to being having so much fun while on stage. Being about thirty pounds over wight I know that Tanya wishes she could loose some of that fat she has accumulated over the years but it won't happen.
Lyrics:
They say that there's a hole in the atmosphere
The things you think will last disappear
When you were ready to say I do
Somebody lowered the boom on you
Now you need a sympathetic ear
Tell me about it
Tell me about teardrops in the dark
Tell me about it
Tell me about your broken heart
You say you need someone to hold you tight
(You) can't stand another lonely night
Well come closer and
Tell me about it
Love isn't always true it hurts sometimes
Your tears will tell on you girl, I'm not blind
I know what you're goin' through
I graduated from that school too
If you need a shoulder cry on mine
Tell me about it
Tell me about teardrops in the dark
Tell me about it
Tell me about your broken heart
You say you need someone to hold you tight
(You) can't stand another lonely night
Well come closer and
Tell me about it
You took a lesson in playin' a fool
I graduated from that school too
If you need a shoulder cry on mine
Tell me about it
Tell me about teardrops in the dark
Tell me about it
Tell me about your broken heart
You say you need someone to hold you tight
(You) can't stand another lonely night
Well come closer and
Tell me about it

+Dolphieness I don't like Taylor's music, but I fully respect her talents. She has got to be the best role model out there.

Alwey Wong not nice to criticize her weight,...could you do better?
I don't know what you consider over weight but Tanya is not over weight in this video
She's plumped nicely for her age and having had kids. And a wild life. You must be young or.. something.
I love these two
