I have a Fiat Punto 1.2 8v active, there are already 14 years. Engine never broke anything, is a war engine, having minimally made revisions, hold almost everything. The problem of these models is the same electric direction. Fiat made a bad choice of sensors inside the box where the electric motor is coupled. There is a disc which internally includes an angle sensor and a torque sensor, these sensors should be optical instead of mechanical.
