Dark: Why is the map like this?
Byun: The rush distance is quite long.
Dark: Basically, this map was created to make Creator win the tournament.

Byun: The natural feels too cramped.
Byun: It's not a front yard(Korean for the natural), but a terrace.

Watching Dark games always makes me want to build a planetary in my natural. He's scary, man!
I love Dark, my favorite player for sure. He may not be the top Zerg player anymore but he is forever the most entertaining one to watch with his unique build ideas. Always makes me want to try bizarre combos to surprise and overwhelm my opponent with.

Anyone else notice when the marine climbed up that it gained a lot of health??? As he jumped up he went to 2000 health and lost it when he dropped back down

Dark is my favourite zerg hands down, yeah reynor and serral are awesome to watch but u only see dark bust out the wildest builds and micro them to victory
Ya he's the most dynamic zerg player imo ... Reynor is fastest and Serral is king of fundamentals ... but Dark is dynamic and most flexible with builds

I wouldn't mind seeing changes to the reaper. It's one of these units were the vision of the devs never really came to pass and now it's pretty much just a scout unit and a minor pain in the butt for map makers.

I really prefer the videos when you can see the Player's POV on the minimap (what their screen is looking at). Is that something @lowkotv can control or is that in the package that is sent to him?

Can't help but feel that infestors need a nerf. You can spam fungal and get a lot of upfront value from the dot and slow. When you lay it against something like Psi Storm, there really isn't any comparison. But hey just a thought.

I don't like these maps. They all seem either too large or too small.
That second map with those really long, wide corridors and expansions that are placed linearly dramatically favors Zerg. All they have to do is what Dark did: hold down the Zergling button and attack in multiple locations at the same time. If Terran and Protoss cannot create chokepoints they are just going to lose bases and workers over the course of a long game.
That's why there's veto. And for finals best of 7 series, both players will have race favored maps.
@@N0noy1989 It would be better if we could get map balance that doesn't favor specific races. We understand well what causes maps to favor certain races, such as narrow corridors making large units like Terran Mech useless, multiple points of entry to critical bases heavily favoring Zerg because of how Zerglings work, mineral patches close to ledges giving Terran an advantage because of Siege Tanks being able to shell worker lines from safety, or bases tucked behind the starting point havily favoring Protoss due to their ability to expand with too much safety.
We should simply demand that map makers not fall into these traps. There's another map (Shipping something or the other) that also HEAVILY favors Zerg because of how close the natural and third base is, meaning they don't need to be connected with Creep Tumors allowing for Queens to Inject early, and the fact that the third base has half golden minerals and only one gas geyser, allowing Zerg to make fewer drones while still maintaining the same mineral throughput early in the game. That's not okay!
Ultralisks have never justified the Ultra in Ultralisk but they have justified the Lisk part
What does Lisk mean? Nobody knows just like the Ultralisks purpose
ultralisk's purpose is to make zealot runbys way less likely to be useful :D
jokes aside, it's a very king of a very late game when the opponent doesn't have enough gas for hard counters like ghost. marine balls are borderline useless against it.
