I'm in my 4th week of radiation and I've been very fortunate with side effects being mild so far.

I just now read an article that stated eating just one hot dog shortens your life 36 minutes! I'm 78 and I have eaten around a million hot dogs with coney sauce. My recommendation, eat more hot dogs!

God Bless you! This is so hard, can you give any advice to us wives out here that have to watch our beloved husbands go through what you're going through? It's torture to watch and not be able to fix it. It seems now that prostate cancer is epidemic, nobody prepares a spouse for this. I tend to hover and try to anticipate his needs before he even realizes he has any, but sometimes I know you guys just need your space, that doting too much can make you all crazy. We are both retired so we're together most all the time. It's hard to strike a balance between being supportive and being smothering. How do you and your wife make it work? I hope your days in hell are almost over! You have a precious soul.
I have been trying to find a time when my lovely wife Kelly can do a video with me concerning this very subject. It can be a very tough balancing act. The hormone treatments cause such mood swings and then there is the matter of going "to the dark side". This can cause us guys to be less than soft and cuddly. Kelly tries to be very inquisitive and ask how I am feeling rather than assuming. She can tell a lot about me by my coloring. She knows if I'm white or red something is going on. Thank you so much for reminding me about this. We will do a volume focusing on this soon. Bless you both as you navigate this rocky road of PC battling. I will pray for your success and a full recovery.
