Eastman was the best back story on any character. He was funny and serious and a survivor. He had tragedy in his life as well but still managed to keep on living.

I'm glad Eastman was able to leave a lasting impact on Morgan. To an extent Rick as well as I think that partially influenced Rick to spare Negan. All life is precious. Eastman was a trained psychiatrist....he knew what he was passing on.
Nah I think Rick soley saved Negan because of carls vision for the future and with Carl gone Rick felt obligated to to carry it out to let Carl live on through that vision

And then it got fixed by the woman who almost got decapitated by Morgan as a sign that she means no harm. Then Morgan killed the Bounty Hunter she sent after him, and that's how he got the axe and then attached it.
That episode changed my perspective on things, when he is bitten but still trains that morning, not letting circumstances change your decisions or who you are, wonderful episode
Eastman was a father figure in the darkest hour. Spent his time trying to help others before himself. I just hope when it all actually falls, people like him still exist. Life is precious not because it ends, but because of what we do during our time here.
morgan has to be one of my most hated characters in all of media. not only was he just straight up annoying and crazy making all the wrong decisions, he literally got eastman killed, if he wasnt such a dumbass and an inconsiderate monkey from the moment he met him, then eastman would not have died the way he did, he literally died because morgan was a stupid retard.

I grew up angry at the world for the racism, childhood abuse, and trauma I experienced and was on a self-destruct mission, but my dad taught me that not everyone is the same. Instead of channelling that energy into hate, learn to control it and harness it into sheer will and determination. There are a lot of unsung heroes in this world. My dad saved my life more than once; he was the best man at my wedding, and I honour him daily by being the best dad I can be to my son.

Eastman has left a huge legacy on TWD, despite only being shown in 1 episode. It can be traced all the way down to Lydia. Lydia learned it to honor Henry, who learned it to honor Benjamin, who was taught by Morgan, who was taught be Eastman himself.

I give it 3 more episodes, unless this is the final of the new series for fear, that Morgan flips and goes killing again. Then another 3 episodes near the end he becomes saint morgan. Forgives the enemy until 3 episodes later Morgan flips as the ones he forgive escapes from him. Rinse and repeat until Ricky boy comes back.
Eastman is what a real man should be. Capable and dangerous when necessary but in full control of his emotions and actions. Knows when to fight and when to help.

Eastman's legacy is bigger than people realise. Because of Eastman Morgan found Rick, and others learned the point of mercy. Morgan built the jail cell to give 'options' to Rick. Negan lived on because of that cell, Negan saves kids repeatedly and defeats Alpha. In other words Eastman saves everyone and they never know. You never know what good you are doing when you do good.
Many many scenes in the walking dead universe has hit me in the heart but nothing like this scene absolute masterpiece and after how much Eastman built Morgan’s character I was absolutely over the moon to see them give a nod to Eastman he was one of my favourite characters

I think Morgan’s point is that in his view the Wolf changed because he didn’t kill Denise therefore Denise saved Carl’s life. If the Wolf had not change he would kill Denise right away in order to save his own life and consequently Carl would probably have died. I think what Morgan wants to tell us or to tell Rick is that if we do the right thing make the right choice in that case not killing good things can come out of it in that case there’s still a life that can save another. Killing the Wolf would be wrong not only because it goes against Morgan’s view of life (all life is precious) it shows us that no matter how evil someone can be that person can still change be useful and save someone’s life. Morgan tells Rick not to kill that man they don’t know who he was because that man could possibly be their luck by saving their lives (and/or their loved ones lives) in a moment of need in a moment they’re in trouble. If he’s alive then he’s able to save other lives too.
