@@AdminAbuse The game was missing an endgame grind, for now this is ok, If they were to simplify this and have a grind for inf rolls instead it'd need to be done right, otherwise we will be right back to being min maxed gear in 3 days. Really the problem is the gold though.
@@AdminAbuse yeah tampering is fine, maybe an expensive mats cost for a reset. But yeah, gold costs on everything sucks

Seeing raxx have the following he has now from even a few years ago is awesome 🤯 found him around season 15-16 of D3 maybe and back then his content was good as shit too 🙏🏼 he’ll get what he deserves and more in due time

the double elixir tip legit got me surprised, had no idea about it and its super useful

would add that you can triple stack incense, a level 1, 2, and 3, together. so 2 elixirs + 3 incense = you delete mobs and level quickly
@@endorphinADMIN The EXP function of elixirs doesn't stack. Says right on it.
@@matthewjefferies2068 but you do retain the potencies =]
@@endorphinADMINthe bonus of most incenses is bad in my opinion. You don't need 3 elixirs to delete mobs because they barely help
For example, if you are a sorc or a necro, the incense that gives you 25 inteligence means 2.5% extra damage, which is very little but at least it is something. Now imagine how less meaningful 25 strength, willpower and dexterity is for you. The bonus of that is super small and even if you use 3 incenses (type 1 2 and 3) only one will give you bonus exp because the bonus exp doesn't stack on them
The possible exception I think of, is if the extra 25 stats of the incense help you get to get one of the paragon bonus which requires a minimum amount of a specific stat, but even then, chances are this barely makes a difference
I believe some incenses might be good while leveling or for bossing as well. I believe there are 2 that give resistances, although you can only use one at a time

They need to just make teleport spots and strongholds account-wide unlocks. I am so tired of having to go to all of them and re-do strongholds every season 😴
AND it resets on new chars aswell.. made 2 chars to 100 already and had to do them twice, unreal
I'd be fine if it was just season-wide and reset every season. Each character is insane
I agree. One time unlock per season and we are fine
The only problem with that is strongholds are ideal to gear when jumping world tiers.
@@jaredadams8069eh I used the curiosities each time I jumped wt which got me good enough starting gear to go into ht and grind gear again.

It wasn't working for me after they did the gold update. It seems patched now.
@@k1ngMagnus You have to open the cache they give you from the quest, then you can craft it.
There aren't any quests in Gea Kul in my game. Seems weird
Thanks a ton for the tips, this really helps since I have limited playing time. I think the best tip was what to sell vs salvage, I never thought of going to the vendor to see what was a codex upgrade vs not, thus sell to get gold. I appreciate the effort you put in to make the game fun for all.

I'm just glad 925s are not locked behind duriel anymore
They never were
never locked tho
You used to only get them guaranteed from Duriel before when he was introduced.
Then they unlocked it to where either S3 or this season that NMD Tier 50 or 60+ are all 925s. And the obvious Andariel drops 925s cause she was introduced after duriel.
I've never fought duriel and I've been getting 925s
@@vizzle89 wrong, NMD 91+ in S2 are guaranteed 925 items.

I had been doing nightmare dungeons and loving it, but everyone was talking about helltide so I figured I'd try it some more... used the profane cage because I figured maybe that was why it felt slow to me... no, still slow, but now it's also dangerous :o I died a number of times in amped up helltide, I think I've died like once in nightmare dungeons (back when I first started around level 50). Helltide's nice for gearing, but yeah, for XP nightmare dungeons are way faster and imho much more relaxed way to play.
Didn't know about that quest for double elixirs though, going to do that :)

I really like that explanation of a some-what loot filter since we gotta sell more stuff. i always just broke stuff down for mats but this will stop me from doing that. Good video bro, 5-6 hours in and this is good info.
Im selling a lot too. Mostly i sell rares and scrap legendaries cause i don't yet have a good stockpile of legendary mats. Thanks to the codex redux, im also not hoarding stuff, unless im on that "will i /won't i" upgrade point.

I have started selling yellow and legendary gear to make money as I level.
All yellows are going for gold. They only have two rows of affix rolls, and unfortunately, imprinting no longer adds a random third one anymore. I wish Blizzard would just stop dropping yellows at some point and just drop piles of gold.
I LOVED the salvaging tips. I've been wondering about this and doing the same but wasn't sure if it was correct. Now I know! This is from someone who stopped when season 2 came out.

One thing I haven't seen anyone talk about is the elemental surge weapon temper. Once it's legendary you can use it on an alt and gives a fairly good chance to deal thousands of damage, even at level 1. Now you only need to solve defense in order to start capstones.
That's really clever
Same is true for the max life defensive temper, it adds around 400 life which is massive for low levels. I did this on my second character and deleted the capstone on a lvl 20 rogue, one shotting most enemies and being unkillable myself.

Hey Raxx. Loving the new season. Really feels like Diablo is moving in a good direction even though it's more D3 than ever. I'm running into a lot of frustration bricking items through tempering and it stops me from trying master working. Was wondering if you think blizzard will open up a way to remedy this? I foresee myself hitting a wall in every future season once I get to this point.
Ive been enjoying this much more than when i first played in S1. I'm still farming renown since I just completed the campaign for the first time, but i cant help myself when i run across a helltide or I get a message that a boss/legion event is about to start. I love games where its super easy to get lost in just playing the game. Like, i know I need to get my alters and all that, but Im just having a blast.

If you’re able to do the Helltide boss multiple times in a row, particularly if multiple people are there and also starting the boss, you can level far faster than any dungeon, and you will get a lot of cinders to open multiple boxes. In roughly 20-30 min, I had leveled 3 times and had over 1,200 cinders.

i did actually switch to NM Dungeons on t3 asap since i needed a break from helltide and thought, hey i need to level glyphs anyway so i do not care if it takes a little longer. found that to be really cool to have a path that makes ALL the activities usefull - so Helltide to Dungeons back to helltide and bosses to Pit sounds really good -
Also for the elixir - i hope its not a bug - i would find it really cool to have some quests in the game that you actually WANT to do like in other games (skillpoints in d2 or poe - permanent stat increases and so on).
WOW - I had no clue about the double tempering, icons and anti-venom.
D4 s4 has been a blast!
Only thing I want now, aside from the expansion, are leaderboards for the Pit and uber boss kills!
