      +LoOsE_uNiT I swear that was completely unintentional. I blame it on English being a second language. :p

      What kind of motorcyclist would make a sex joke?

    Nicely detailed... Just a few things I'd like to help with. Firstly I think that if you were to add some vulcanising glue to the tyre string before you pushed it into the hole that you'd reamed it would have gone in more easily and improved the chances of a leak from the repair. Secondly I would definitely put the motorbike in gear so you're not fighting against a freely rotating wheel. Lastly I would like to have seen you pour some water over the repair to see how good the integrity of the plug was or if indeed there was a minute leak that would give you a slow puncture. All that aside, a well presented vid my friend.

      You make a good point about lubricating the plug and putting the bike in gear, would indeed make things much easier. If I were to do this on the side of the road I'd probably leave the bike in gear anyway to try and stop it rolling forward (and falling over).
      As for testing the seal by pouring some water over, I just didn't think of it, but yes it would've been a good demonstration!

    Plug would have gone in easier had you put some rubber cement on it, and it would seal better.

    7:35 YOU NEED TO PUT THAT GLUE ON IT AGAIN!
    8:54 I would also FIll the tire up with AIr FIRST (before cutting that off)

    That's its good but I like more the other plug who has metal part on the top go inside the tire and stop air to come out and later plug with rubber cord

    How long does seal supposed to last ?

    • @DaHitch
      @DaHitch  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Indefinitely? I have driven/ridden around for years with a plug in car and motorcycle tyre without issue.

    how many folks has a paddock stand when there on the road??? it would be easer of the paddock

    • @DaHitch
      @DaHitch  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, that's true. But many motorcycles do have a centre stand that can be used to keep the bike upright.
      However, you can also just leave the bike on the side stand and put it in first gear. That way the bike will stay upright and won't roll forward when forcing the plug into the tyre, this will work for both front and rear tyres.

      I done mine on side stand and did not put it in gear and had no issues with it rolling forward

    Am I wrong that the tire are worn out? If so why not change the tire by not waste money and time mending that puncture?
    Why made yourself suffer? Not realistic!

    • @DaHitch
      @DaHitch  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes that tire was indeed worn and needed replacement. So I drove a screw in it so i could make this video. I replaced it later that week as I recall.
