At #24, I couldn't resist changing the speed setting to 2x speed. HILARIOUS!
The reason the Infinite 1 Up Glitch Happens is because it gets caused by another Glitch.
there is a Glitch known as Block duplication, which is quite poweful and hard to do. In this Case, the P-Switch getting thrown in this EXACT position causes the Glitch (or any other Item) But at this moment, there is something Special because the P-Switch gets stuck. Because the P-Switch duplicates the Block AND triggers the Block to drop his Item, the Block will turn to a 1-Up Factory!
Besides that, the Block Duplication also is destructive since it can do
1. False Warps
2. Glitched Dragon Coins
3. Kaizos
4. The Double Yoshi Powerup Incremention
5. Yet more uses
Executing it is very hard (Frame-perfect) and doing the Glitches later on is EXTREME!

The death yoshi glitch is the most common one happened to me alot of times.

The Killer Corner... This happens to me a long time ago in that mad bonus room there you can get a 1-Up on every floor. I died at the corner of the pipe at the top, or perhaps at the block left of it and I didn't understand the reason.
I found out about the Vanishing Gate glitch by accident twenty-some-odd years ago. I can't remember exactly how I did it back then, but I tried it again a few days ago on Virtual Console by using a blue Yoshi, and it still works, although the shell only becomes a (non-interactive) key and not that flashing glitchy item, which is what I remember it becoming when I was a kid. (I also remember doing a lot of the other glitches mentioned here, but some of them I found out about via a player's guide, e.g. the infinite coins/lives Wiggler trick, and the sped-up music one.)

I did #04, except in Donut Plains 2. The BG color turned into pure red, WITHOUT anything else, no joke.
I remember a few months ago, one person tried to beat Super Mario World (without any shortcuts or glitches) with only one life, he was on an underground level (unsure of which one) and he was hitting some yellow blocks with the cape to cross, then a glitch ocurred causing him to fall from the stone floor and die in front of 100000 viewers. It was hilarous.

these a glitch called the climbing P-Swtich glitch. you have to throw the P-Swtich upwards at the chain, grab the chain, go under the switch, and hold the run button. you will have the switch in your hands while climbing. this will be fixed after you get off the chain or let go of the run button. this only works in the castle of world 1

the reason the glitch happens at 3:05 is when mario trows yoshi up he eats the enemy but on top of it is a enemy wo it will apear as a shell so it killed the enemy but the sprite is

Technically, only Funky needs to be complete for that happening. If you use ACE (Arbitrary Code Execution) to go to Funky and beat it, I think it will change

I found I glitch with yoshi, a spring, and a wiggler. So get yoshi, get on the spring, and once the wiggler is in the spring you would die
