trussive there is still death barrier, but it is not configured to make you die
@@AbsurdBartholomew the death barrier was specified to teleport Mario into the lobby with a different set of X,Y and Z position.

For those who might not know, the reason Backwards Long Jumps (BLJs) work is because Mario has no backwards speed cap. In other words, Mario’s backwards speed is indefinite, and the speed limit doesn’t exist. Because of this, Mario is capable of doing a BLJ because he continuously builds up speed through the long jump. It only works on stairs and maybe a few other surfaces because the long jump can’t bring him completely off the ground on the surfaces due to the long jump’s height

Whenever you have the wing cap on, remember to hold A if you're falling from some where high. This'll prevent Mario from taking damage. Also if you get hit and Mario does the damage animation and falls backwards, holding A works, too.

nope i got you beat on the brutal death. not that it's a competition but i don't think anyone could top it. lethal lava land inside the volcano. i was riding the lift and i fell off the front. i got smashed by the lift and burned by the lava at the same time. it instantly killed me. i actually got a little bit scared because of how horrific mario's scream was. i don't have video evidence cause this happened years ago. you'll just have to take my word for it. though nothing is forcing anyone to believe me.

Where are all the cool glitches? Like cloning, hyper speed walking, Pedro spots, etc? The only cool glitch you showed was hat in hand, and you didn't even show how cool it is.
I know some of the glitches I mentioned may not have been discovered when this video was released, but the glitches shown were too specific and didn't showcase the larger glitches at hand, and I didn't like that.

best glitch is actually cloning
do the setup of hod bigger bomb but grab as it turns to smoke.
you now hold a vacant slot
now find an area with something that disapears as you go away (ex: goomba)
go near it and you will hold the goomba or another object. if you dont get the right one walk away and back towards it
if you hold the right object you can release it and it takes up a slot in memory.
cloning a chain chomp will appear invisible.
so just unload the object while you hold it or while you grab it
8:37 is because you have so much backwards momentum, that mario will be sent straight backwards with all the negative speed that he has made from the BLJ.

Actually when you enter that door and go inside the castle (but still in the black room, castle music plays) you can walk throught the walls at the sides of the door so you are actually not softlocked

To be fair the 64 had a lot of glitches
I was stuck and the levels with stars were difficult. But this glitch made me get to the Final Bowser Fight with 57 Stars! XD

7: How is it double death? You don't die by falling into the hole in this level since it's a bonus level...
18: Not sure how we can call an intended feature a glitch... I mean, I find logic in the fact that as long as you're in an enemy, the game won't make you hurt a second time...

I Know When You Tap The A Button. Once You Tap It, You Will Be Sent Slightly Backwards. On The Exact Frame You Hit The Next Stair, Tap It Again And Repeat.
12- Hold large bob-omb has a another glitch...
If you catch it at the finish and explote and you dont give damage... walk around the stage with it, and you get a different items from the stage how a Goomba and Chain from the Chain Chop... Bubbles... Coins and more.
I've experienced these glitches on Super Mario 64 (Wii U virtual console)-#4, #6, #7, #8, #12, #13, #14, and #17.

18 probably isn't a bug. It was probably implemented to make the game less frustrating by allowing the player to move away from it.
+Potato Jr. No it's definitely by design. If you're pushed into a wall and the enemy is still on top of you it protects you from just getting slaughtered until you can get out of the way.

1. Jump Off Of A High Distance And Hit The Edge Of The Ground Of The Course.
2. Fall Into The Huge Black Hole Of Death.
3. Drown In The Water.
Note: It Might Make You Lose 2 1ups Or Something.

I like Glitch 15 where Mario beats Koopa Troopa right when the race starts
and his high score for beating koopa in fast time is zero.
You don't beat Koopa Troopa, since it will never come to you.
When you do this the game softlocks, the game doesn't like when you're talking to something which is unloaded, so it wont load Koopa Troopa at all
