I love Mission Thrift Store in Red Deer. Really good prices and usually they have 50% off a colour tag on Mondays. They recently started a rewards program as well. Unfortunately they don’t have a big enough space for big furniture. You scored with that teak hutch! Love it.

I don’t resell, just shop for myself. Wanted to say I love the options you have for thrifting, I have to travel at least 20 minutes to find thrift shops or antique stores. I just got to the creepy mobile part- I was literally laughing out loud! Yes!!!! Its super creepy😂 Maybe like, it used to be colorful or something and its worn off?? I found your channel a few weeks ago. I like all the videos I've seen so far! I like that you seem genuine and - idk- not overly edited. I'm new at reselling. I've had a tiny tiny corner in a local antique store for about a year, but am going to be able to move in to an actual booth space next month!! I've never sold online, but I want to! I don't know why, but I'm intimidated by the thought of it- which is how I started watching TH-cam videos of other resellers. Anyway, I appreciate your channel.

I had a silver shell like that. It is for butter or Kaviar. Normally there should be a matching glas plate in it , some even come with a little knife . As I don’t have the time to carb my butter into little flakes and drape that into the shell and don’t like Kaviar, I put bath bombs in it and put it onto the bathroom window sill. Unfortunately it didn’t take long until it rusted.

I'd like to see more French Country decor. Especially artwork. It's very difficult finding nice French Country artwork. I wished you had picked up that candle holder that had the amber glass in the middle. I would have snatched that up right away. The shakers are definitely copper.
I'm going to have to go back in the video and remind myself about the candle holder with the amber glass. French country is a bit harder to find in my marketplace - or maybe my eyes just aren't trained for picking it out? Where do I start… you did ask a lot of questions😂. As an estate sale, thrift store, antique shopper of many decades, I felt so bad for you #88! I have collected everything under the sun so I’m always looking for the unique, and unusual….I loved, loved, loved that mobile( not for a child’s room), and I would have purchased it from you in a heartbeat. No question it’s most likely a handmade artisan piece, possibly African. I don’t think you made a mistake leaving behind the Egyptian tray, but I would have taken the brass shell piece. The three brass planters, and the miniature kettle are very pretty. I too would have picked up that distressed wood block with the holes for sure…I can think of so many ways to use it. I love the six drawer teak dresser, that was a steal…in New York you couldn’t touch it for less than $200, and that would be considered inexpensive. I really dislike when a room looks like someone went into a store and bought everything. Adding pieces over time makes a home so much more attractive, and it’s rewarding. I have two 30x15 storage units packed to the gills. I’m not a reseller, but I’m thinking about having an estate sale so I can start all over again🤣🤣.

I think the shell was an ashtray as there looked to be a hole in the side. I was yelling at the tv, “don’t leave it behind!” many times during the video and wishing I could control the camera for a second look. 😂 It was a great shopping trip, thank you!
In the seventies I Crewell stitched several pics. I dug them out of a box in my parents attic after they passed. My fave ones were mushrooms in Golds and greens but something had eaten all the green thread.
Such amazing pieces of art - I'm so glad they are having a resurgence in popularity. The amount of time and attention to detail they take - I wouldn't even know where to begin!

I find the Canadian thrift stores are getting a bit pricey. If you are a reseller there is not much meat on the bone left. I also find the people in charge of pricing are not very consistent. But seeing I am hooked on thrifting, it is what it is.
Totally agree- everything in Canada is just getting over the top in price. It’s very expensive to be a Canadian right now! But I guess we just need to look harder and be more selective!

All coffee cups/mugs are 24 cents at my local thrift store.I don't patronize Goodwill anymore. WAY out of my price range. My local cell afghans/quilts/blankets for $2 each. Sometimes half price!!! Talk about a thrift store. Their items are all donated and ALL sales go to needy persons.The people who work there are all volunteers. What a good Christian organization.😊😇
That sounds like an awesome thrift store. I personally think all the mugs and glasses should be 25 or 50 cents - there are so many of them! Sometimes the thrift stores here get very crowded with items because they are charging too much. Then it all goes to the goodwill bins and then to the dump. Sad.
A question: I found your Etsy shop. But it doesn’t go to my own app. I’m just wondering how to search on my app for a specific Etsy store. I could just ask my children. 😂
