I died laughing when you showed those birds with the clothes pins for beaks and heads ha ha ha I actually know who donated those and the story behind them is that those top pieces broke off and she put those clothes pins on there and used to use them to display cute little notes or recipes, but they were always intended to be funny not a serious diy .She called them her “dorky ducks”.
@@AllPutTogether oh I absolutely told her! Those birds spawned so many conversations and laughs and her “feelings/reasons “ for why she did that to them after she broke them were hilarious 🤣She would say things like “I broke them and had to save them, They are now my responsibility because no one else will want them, They would feel sad and be under appreciated because no one else would know how majestic they once were” We would respond with things like “ I’m sure they feel so much better now that you stuck clothespins on them but I don’t think majestic is what we would call them now, a once majestic bird to a dodo 🦤 bird.” They were at all the get togethers in some capacity , welcome sign or appetizer tags or inspirational saying holders. She had them for several years and finally let them go. She loved that they made a final appearance. Thank you so much for a final laugh with the dodos 🦤😂🤣
I absolutely LOVE how comfortable you are in front of the camera. Some of your facial expressions make me crack up. Your channel is one of my FAVORITE. Thanks for being so real. You got some great items. 👏
I do NOT want to be rude to anyone! I just have a hard time understanding what people will or will not collect or drop money on. I mean, those studio pottery pieces are OOAK. If someone wants to own beautiful, original art- that is the way to go! I can not resist studio pottery when thrifting! I definitely pick up more than I sale, but you have to pick up what you love, not just what makes money. 🙂
Conversely, those ceramic lidded vessels were beautiful, and they may not be selling that well right now, but the trends change like the wind, and they could be selling like hotcakes tomorrow... I would have picked them up on speculation that THEY WILL SELL WELL down the road. They were so good that I really couldn't have left them behind!
For that marble base lamp with the brass, it's so easy to change the brass with a little bit of rub'n buff... Little would take a minute out of your day. The most simple and easy diy :)
Hi Andi! I believe that if you had the money to invest in all the beautiful pieces of pottery, you should have picked them up. I listened to everything you said about the pieces, and your gut is rarely wrong... it's okay to go against the thought of the current store guy.... the stuff would have sold eventually, would have made a gorgeous, rich display in your booth for very little investment! I guess it comes down to having the space for stock for a rainy day. (I'd have bought them!)
Such nice pottery in some segments of today's outing. I wish you would pick up more of it, especially the really well-made pieces. I hate the thought of them breaking before they find their forever homes.
Me either, but I would've passed on that one. With the back being so damaged and there already being several pieces for active sale online, it wouldn't be worth the shipping.
@AllPut Together Hi I'm the guy that told you about the no face Kokeshi. At the Kyoto antiques fair I found out about White Birch Kokeshi. Very rare. They leave some of the bark on it to show it's birch.
If it were me in my CA GWs, I would have picked up all of that pottery and the Asian black enamel screen in a heartbeat. Especially that screen. Only twice I’ve found sets of 3 and 4 panels and I LOVE them. Deep colors, the black enamel is CHIC. Even for 24.99 I would have jumped at it.
I absolutely LOVE that large ceramic tray/bowl that you said could be used on your coffee table for remotes/etc. I wish I would find a piece like that soon! And it would be hard for me to resist some of those other gorgeous pottery pieces with lids--I feel a couple could have been used for upcoming holiday table, especially Thanksgiving!
I did end up getting them and totally forgot to show them when I filmed. Decided to take them to my booth rather than ship them. I think they weighed close to 8 pounds!
The iridescent glass vase is fabulous...the pontil. I am inspired by your videos. Love that you get to the Good Stuff and talk about it. I get bored when I go from shelf to shelf and not find anything...and if I'm bored I assume my watchers are too. Great video. and So much pottery!
I am really enjoying your videos and all the information you have been sharing. I LOVE the wood trays and the butter bell. I have found only a few and they do go quick. I might have some questions for you when I get my Etsy shop going soon.
See I'm a sucker for rustic studio pottery and I'd be buying some of those casseroles for me LOL I can use them around the house, storage is always needed! Especially in the office where I can't stand having piles of pens, post-its, tape, string... I'd rather look at a shelf of beautiful handmade pottery.
So many people say Waterford is great but I can't even give it away at a flea market. I never buy it for resale any longer. Same with the beautiful pottery casseroles they are big and heavy so many people just don't want them anymore, again I end up stuck with them. That's why you find so many of them at Goodwill.
Hi Andi! Love your channel! I have a question - what category do you list your wooden boxes in on Etsy? They don't have a Trinket Box category so I'm always perplexed about which category to put them in. Thank you! (Loved all those studio ceramic pieces! I would have snatched them up for myself!)
I would have got those bookends. Not bad for what they are. I do agree that Good Will prices things too high. It's not what it's supposed to be at their stores!
Oh, I would have totally bought the yellow bird on the perch if you had gotten it! It's of a sulphur crested cockatoo! Any possibility of doing that? I recently bought a brass cat from you, so I am totally interested in the cockatoo! :) It's the bird at 2:01 time stamp, thanks!!
lol - it’s Mod Podge!!! When I am purchasing and I waver on whether to purchase or not I always pass. I have bought stuff that I waver on and they don’t sell and I get mad because I know I should listen to my gut. Nice haul - TFS!!❤
If you would go back and buy those masks, only one of which you showed on camera and list them on Etsy, I will buy them! If you could respond to this, I could give you the information so that you would be confident that I would in fact buy them. Thanks so much.
Generally, I get more annoyed then embarressed. I swear every time I start to film the store makes an announcement on the PA system or someone breaks something near me and I have to start again! lol
I would have got the bird! Love you show.😊

I thought that they really had a DINOSAUR vibe! Just something about the way the clothespins were attached at the heads...🦖 funny!
OMG that is too funny!! I hope you tell her I was like WTH when I saw them haha. Thanks for sharing!

Waterford Crystal from Waterford in Ireland can be quite sought after. It has a great reputation.
Loved those black and white marble book ends, definitely would’ve bought those they’d fit with my decor!
I gasp at the large ceramic bowl with feet ❤❤❤

It was very hard to pass them up, but I have a few already that haven’t gotten any interest. If they were canisters I would have jumped on them.
Such beautiful pieces ... especially the curvy tray! Your part of the country seems to yield wonderful treasures.
omg that bird was amazing

I’m in shock that the pictures were 50 each in goodwill ,those pottery pieces with lids were beautiful I couldn’t have left them❤
It’s so funny another dealer next to me bought them and has them priced at $225 each in her booth. Excited to see how they sell!
Such nice pottery in some segments of today's outing. I wish you would pick up more of it, especially the really well-made pieces. I hate the thought of them breaking before they find their forever homes.
I know! They were so beautiful. I don’t have a lot of storage space so that’s also always on my mind when I shop. I refuse to get a storage unit!
I have a few of the Restoration Hardware pear garlands and love them. Very classic! Hope you’ll end up loving them too.
Personally i have NEVER passed on Waterford.
Me either, but I would've passed on that one. With the back being so damaged and there already being several pieces for active sale online, it wouldn't be worth the shipping.
Pine cone brass candlestick holders are classy. Probably the market is inondated in your are. Because the pottery pieces were amazing.
The brass pine cone candle holders!!!! Love them!!!!💞💞🙃💞💞
Me too!! I love giant pine cones and collect them. ;)
I have a parrot like the bird you found. Mexican folk art...I bought mine 35 years ago in Puerto Vallarta!! Viva la Mexico!!
Oh wow! Lovely!
The bird is an Australian Cockatoo ❤.
Watching from Australia 🇦🇺
@AllPut Together Hi I'm the guy that told you about the no face Kokeshi. At the Kyoto antiques fair I found out about White Birch Kokeshi. Very rare. They leave some of the bark on it to show it's birch.
Thanks for the tip! Now I’m on the hunt for those too!
Cracked up at your expression when you said “once in a bazillion”. You’re so fun Andi❣️
Waterford is very expensive generally. Their crystal wine glasses are over 100 dollars a piece

I do kinda regret not getting the tray/bowl. It was very versatile.
I love butter boats - they are a little cooler than the butter bell to me! 😊
Brass...ok here we go!!!💞💞🙃💞💞
You could repaint it be little wicker stool pink to go with your 🦒
That clay bowl was a great deal.Trays are lovely.
Love the wooden trays.
I could not buy that butter bell fast enough!
17;46 , love it !
Omg those modge podge pumpkins are adorable
Back in the late 80's my parents bought me that whicker stool; it came painted white from the store.
Good to know! Thanks!
Hi! Enjoyed the haul! Tfs
I feel like you talk yourself out of some great stuff. Those black marble bookends were worth it.
I did end up getting them and totally forgot to show them when I filmed. Decided to take them to my booth rather than ship them. I think they weighed close to 8 pounds!

Man it’s been slim picking lately, the Xmas gear is taking over now that Halloween is nearly over.
I have the wood cutout trivets. They didn’t come with anything on the bottom.
I am really enjoying your videos and all the information you have been sharing. I LOVE the wood trays and the butter bell. I have found only a few and they do go quick. I might have some questions for you when I get my Etsy shop going soon.
Glad you like them! Happy to help!
The bird in the first thrift shop is an Australian Cockatoo.
Oooh, I love those pine cone candle holders. Hopefully they haven't sold yet! I would totally buy them.
They will be available Sunday. :)
Would like the unique brass candle stems & the Flowered piece
Should I go thru Etsy email or how
Great episode, Andi, some of those prices at GW, what are they thinking?
See I'm a sucker for rustic studio pottery and I'd be buying some of those casseroles for me LOL I can use them around the house, storage is always needed! Especially in the office where I can't stand having piles of pens, post-its, tape, string... I'd rather look at a shelf of beautiful handmade pottery.
You’re so right, they would be so cute for storage!
NEVER would have turned down Waterford crystal
I think the birds with clothespin beaks were school shop projects in the 50s
Closepin duck heads 😂😂😂😂
So many people say Waterford is great but I can't even give it away at a flea market. I never buy it for resale any longer. Thanks for sharing your experience with these pieces too! Although it breaks my heart, I try to remember that I am running a business. Haha
We did ceramics in school back in the 80s so many pieces are hardly even considered studio pieces. They're school projects from art 101 class.
Those pottery pieces were not pottery 101 pieces. They were made by a skilled craftsman. Awesome. 0:55
@@peggyfiedler1556 1:31 This is to what I was referring.
Would of got the mug too. Lol

Hi! I chose the Boxes and Bins category under organization.
@@AllPutTogether TY!
Those birds had clothes pin labotomies.
Waterford usually sells.
I would have got those bookends. Not bad for what they are. I do agree that Good Will prices things too high. It's not what it's supposed to be at their stores!
6 GW my goodness, do I understand if interested it will be on Etsy or do I email
Will you be putting the holiday on your etsy shop today? I am interested in shopping.
Sunday!
Where was the bird at? I’m also in the Portland area and love that! Goodwill # 1
It was the Griffith Drive Goodwill in Beaverton. It was last week so I’m not sure it will still be there.
Sadly it wasn’t there the next time I went. :(
Yay another video why are those lamps so expensive 😮 why?? 🧐 😂 that real gold leaf 🍂 is that why
I went this week and they were gone! They must have marked them down finally.
I think I would have gotten all those pots and sold them locally or another platform
Do you offer a promo code?
If you ever see a paper mache bird from Mexico that is marked Bustamante, do not pass it up. His stuff sells for a small fortune.
Thanks for the tip!
I would have bought that frame and just marked it a little bit lower than the others and just been truthful
What GW were the lidded pots in?? I’m in Beaverton and thought about getting one
It’s the one on 99 in Tigard. I filmed the video last week so I’m not sure how many are left.
I would have got the frame. You could have probably gotten at least $40 plus shipping.
goodwill pricing is outrageous.
Ok
lol - it’s Mod Podge!!! When I am purchasing and I waver on whether to purchase or not I always pass. I have bought stuff that I waver on and they don’t sell and I get mad because I know I should listen to my gut. Nice haul - TFS!!❤
Bookends 10 bucks a piece....ouch!!!💞💞🙃💞💞
I would love those birds with clothespins for heads! I use them in our farmstand to hold produce prices,
If you would go back and buy those masks, only one of which you showed on camera and list them on Etsy, I will buy them! If you could respond to this, I could give you the information so that you would be confident that I would in fact buy them. Thanks so much.
I checked when I was there yesterday and they were all gone - sorry!
Such great finds! I adore your channel so please don't take this wrong, but it scares me that you show your license plate. 😬❤️
Lamps were beautiful….
Overpriced for goodwill.
Bad brass a time for rub and buff
is it awkward to be on camera talking to yourself in a thrift store? i always wonder this!
Generally, I get more annoyed then embarressed. I swear every time I start to film the store makes an announcement on the PA system or someone breaks something near me and I have to start again! lol
Lol too many ROFL to write
Love you...but you seemed a tad more whiney today...you ok...
