I feel so bad now as an adult, when I was little my mother had chenille bedspreads and I use to pluck it out😕
Oh no! When I was a little girl I used the cigarette lighter in the back of my moms new Cadillac and burnt a couple of circles in the arm rest. She’s since forgiven me.

I have a chenille bedspread. I m nostalgic for them. They remind me of my pop-pop’s house. His house always smelled like Eucalyptus, spices, and baking. To me the bedspreads are just cornerstone of comfort and uplifting freshness.

Your prices there are the original "good ole days" of thrifting! It's a completely different world today in😮 the Midwest. The prices they're asking here are above retail and most are broken! Unbelievable.

Cracked many an ice cube 🧊 out of that type of aluminum ice tray! Really nice haul today! Music stand and the silver butter dish are other favorites!

On that aluminum ice tray I took and put it on a cutting board and Put a little greenery at the top in a little bow , so cute for the kitchen

No I don’t really follow her but I should. The fabric is pretty worn. So I will recover it.

Jami, when you said PHILCO on the ice cube tray it brought me a memory! My mom told me when I was really little the first word I actually "read" was Philco! That was the fridge we had..I'm 71 now, so that tray is really old😂❤ Aren't they so cute, tho? My mom kept the trays even after the fridge was long gone!
I have said that if I find any aluminum ice trays, I will buy them. They are so much better than plastic ones.

Thanks! I was blessed with lots of brows which I used to think was a curse. Luckily I didn’t over pluck them in my youth and now they are popular thick.
Back in the early 90’s we used to use those “cookie molds” to make pressed paper art. It was really popular, especially ones of the LDS temples.

I ALWAYS loved the ice from those trays. I don’t know what it is. Maybe it’s that pieces always broke off. But the ice seemed colder to me. Plus you don’t have to turn the tray over to retrieve the ice. (I always lose some ice with the silicone ones.)

Watched this one a few times, don’t remember if I commented before! But I wanted to recognize the chenille spread, my brother wanted one for nostalgia’s sake, so I started looking and thought I would check it out on Amazon very expensive and not all that attractive ! Our local thrift stores are expensive, one reuse it does have amazing items and some are good buys! Blessed days!

Really enjoyed this video, got a lot of very nice finds. Do you sell your decoupage paper that you make? im fairly new to your channel so still finding out a little more about what you all do and have. Your thrifting is so much different than others i have watched i think its only like 2 others thrifters i watch and yours is very entertaining such as being nicer, better, and bigger stuff. You 2 are also funny and love the way you two are with each other like treating each other with respect and so nice to the other. Thanks for sharing and you have a good week just wish we had more long videos.

ZEB, How did you "clean up the other cast iron? I have several that are rusted and nothing has worked to clean them up. I can't make myself get rid of them though! Any advice will be appreciated!
