If it was shorter, it wouldn't have as much of an impact, if it was longer, it would really have dragged on for too long. So the timing was great, if you ask me.
I don't know if you even see comments on uploads of past streams, but the "loading... > wait for it > a > loading..." beginning was literally my favorite Hololive moment of all time and I adore it to this day.
In general, I love people getting comfortable in a new environment. It's always refreshing seeing them gain confidence and breaking out of their shells. Gura has done an amazing job from and since debut and should definitely feel proud of how far she's gone.

the "a" that changed the world instantaneously, the thing that actually made me start watching more v-tubers after this, since i literally had no bloody idea what v-tubers even been before this, and they critique themselves over it, like my goodness, even a total pessimist like myself sees a good in this.
I hope the rest of the girls do reaction videos eventually too to their own debuts. It's kinda like dvd commentary, where you get a lot of interesting facts about what was going on in every moment. And I love dvd commentaries, so this is great. Very fun stream.

the "a" that changed the world instantaneously, the thing that actually made me start watching more v-tubers after this, since i literally had no bloody idea what v-tubers even been before this, and they critique themselves over it, like my goodness, even a total pessimist like myself sees a good in this.

Gura, you don't know, the absurd amount of happiness that you bring me that day on your debut, at the start i was hopping with every cell of my body that you would say "a", so in that moment i popped of so fricking hard, and the rest of the stream i just was stupidly smiling, thanks for everything.
This stream had the same energy as watching an old home video with your friends that your parents took of your childhood stupidity and they laugh at your weirdness while you sit there and cringe in horror.
I feel this in my soul.

She shouldn't be so embarrassed. This is why and when we all fell in love with her. And look at her now. She's got more subs than all the other en girls and even some of the jp girls I watch like Luna. So no matter what she thinks of her debut stream it paid off for her and we continued to follow her.
She's got more followers than other non Hololive Vtubers.
This is like me just looking at myself a school semester ago, it hurts, especially since last semester I looked at myself a semester ago and that hurt. 6 months can be a lot longer then you think.
