Best time to play Valby in Gluttony right now because of how most players are trying to show off their Hailey so there's fewer Valby. Before the update it's not rare to see 2-4 Valby in pubs, lol.
Finally beaten Gluttony using 90% of your build here with some personal twists. Did it with another STW Valby, Gley and Enzo within 6min in random. Still quite meta imo and I bought Valby just because I enjoyed her in the beta and tried to support the game at launch (didn't play much in pre-season after beaten the main story). Hopefully next boss would be less reliant on the new ultimate descendant(though I doubt that). Anyway, thank you!
@@MeuiYT and overall wipe mechanics aside, I think Gluttony is the only hard hitting boss for players with some decent play time, hopefully the won't keep nerfing existing bosses too.
I just needed a build for Gluttony with Valby. I had to put in 4 catalyst and it was worth it. I ended my night getting 2 Gluttony clears back 2 back with matchmaking. I had all the component rolls on annihilation set & and averaged 10M Damage on two, 2minutes clears. 🤣Crafting my second peace maker after I get materials. Great video as well, I love the build. I feel like I can be the only Valby during a run now. Also, Peace Maker and Hailey’s 3rd ability is 100% crit rate with just a blue crit rate roll + PM special ability that shoots all rounds at once gets activated from Hailey’s first ability. I’ve used only one catalyst so far and I think it has potential. I plan to fully build into it :D
The gun just does no damage even when you crit or try to use the ability, and the ability makes it super inaccurate which just means using Nazeistra's is just better due to reducing 30% def on top of spamming shots. Pretty sure it could be a fun gun but potential will be seen when TFD finally does that massive balance patch they spoke about briefly. I feel like about half of the ultimate weapons are good and the others suck...
Meui i was able to essentially carry 2 pug runs with this. Every run after that has fallen apart, mainly from like people clustering up around me by the bubble fountains and I'm like STOP KEEP AGGRO OFF ME oh well
We run 2 ult valby and 2 dps. Smash him everytime. Sometimes for DPS we use enzo and yujin. The synergy between these 2 is great. Yujin with maxed legacy and enzos crit buff is very nice.
I think I have around a 30-40% success rate with PUGs with my Spiral Tidal Wave Valby now. Usually the problem is not enough DPS from the party (the ice bubble machines are so far away in phase 3 that it quickly becomes unmanageable if Gluttony happens to aggro on you if you're pushing bubbles and your team isn't helping... occasionally the problem is too much glass cannon damage party members that don't know hey maybe I should wait for a grapple or down to unload DPS Funnily enough my very first Gluttony clear was on a quad Valby team, I was worried we were all spec'ed support or something but no, my team members were brilliant
The main problem with Gluttony is that there is still a good chunk of players who have no idea wtf they're doing. I've only done him a few times while Kyle was god, haven't tried again since. Once I can buy a couple more preset slots I'm definitly making this one 🔥💯
Nice. I didn’t think that red mod was good. I got like 5 after combining for other mods I wanted (DROP ME ENZO AND LEPIC MODS DAMMIT) So I guess I’ll be dumping Kuiper/Gold in this bad boy!
I got lucky with spiral tidal wave yesterday. Spent all last week maxing ult lepic and ult freyna, now ima have to re catalyst valby... Rip my patience lol
Assuming it works with this it would make the mod worse. The tidal wave would get way ahead of the bubbles and make the bounce off thing happen more often.
@@mohamedaanish She just doesn't output as much Gunplay wise and I typically use her for Mobbing stuff which she feels amazing to use for. That's just my personal preference though.
Why def? There is not really firearm dmg from gluttony, most of the dmg is frostdmg which def does not decrease Beside that nice guide :) was wondering why sometimes the balls bounce back from him now I know it thanks :)
I think the issue is that there aren't anymore HP mods that can be used. You can switch out an existing mod for more HP but then you lose cooldown (time dilatation) or max MP (stim accelerant).

What are your thoughts on arche acceleration mod? Discovered it playing yujin dps build, but don't see many people use it.
Assuming it works with this it would make the mod worse. The tidal wave would get way ahead of the bubbles and make the bounce off thing happen more often.

Does the expansion-module or extension-module affect the Q and the travel distance when using it on the balls? How long they travel or duration?

Yep hp scales better the more you have and def is an empty slot there

I've cleared it a dozen times off of about 30 attempts in PUGs. The success rate I had playing anything else was 1 clear after almost 50 runs.
