The Indian government has played a crucial role in fostering the growth of startups. The introduction of initiatives like "Startup India" has provided a supportive environment for entrepreneurs, offering tax benefits, funding schemes, and simplified regulations.
Its great to see Indian brands are increasing their presence in international markets, but mere 'presence' is not enough they have to be atleast in top 10 spot in the market they are targeting abroad. Than only we can see soft power and influence of India rising
It's crucial to notice that many Indian software and B2B companies are also building for the world and most of them have their majority of revenue from abroad. I believe this video is more about consumer facing brands/startups
Yes, correct. We did not include SaaS because if we did, video would be totally dominated by them and it would basically become a Top 10 SaaS video, rather than Top 10 Global video. But I agree, Indian SaaS companies are doing great work in expanding the influence of Indian on the global stage. -Caleb
I guess it's more to do with target audience of this video and views. Most people know about ola/lenskart etc instead of big b2b companies like zoho, inmobi etc. This video is factually incorrect.
Awesome list of startups going global! Wish to see more startups in this list especially hardware related and robotics startups. Also wish we(Agam Robotics) to be in this list soon! 😄
Geniune question. How much of components we need to import from china to make high speed drone? Are these components available in India(For sale not proprietary for companies only).
@@-rate6326just look at market research to know the info. Asking that dude will lead to bias answer from him. You shouldn't trust founder statement sometimes
Karthik is pretty straightforward/unbiased on this sort of thing. Not sure if he'll see this, but you can trust his answer more than most. Even he is doing a lot of his own market research and making inroads with OEMs/suppliers/manufacturers, so he's learning and reporting this stuff on his TH-cam channel as he builds in public. -Caleb
Great video bro, wish we had so many optimists like u....While some want to work for the others which was the only trend earlier, thanks to policy changes, good env for business, very well connected digital and bank infrastructure, and enthusiasts like the ones in ur video and You,that we are making spaces for others to work as well ❤❤❤
I think India will become the most successful nation with the help of this kind of company . And government policy plays a significant role in surviving this kind of company .
We didn't look at any SaaS companies in this list, as it would have become a Top 10 SaaS Startups video otherwise. But you're right, they're very much a global Indian company! -Caleb
Electric vehicles would be able to be a market leader when it becomes like Toyota but for smaller vehicles. It is available everywhere and has offering for all kinds of locations, prices and needs.

Zepto...I think still globally there are hardly any like them, there are many unique ones who arent not well known, like there is startup pataa, like which gives delivery partners real locations, not the map location where they get puzzled up
Never thought Eyewear industry could be digitized , Lenskart did it - cool

Surprised to know what OLA was doing earlier. Massive / multiple / exponential Pivots to reach where they are now
Inmobi is a global company and worth a mention.

Miko, goqi?? I never heard those companies anywhere... Are they really there profitable?
As per vadham tea financials the company is still running in losses, so I am not sure what is hindering them
Government should start investing in indian companies to go global....see how Chinese government pushes their businesses go global
First global Indian brand imo must be Tata Industries.
Agree 👍
Make video on Tira brand
Well it did nothing as of now. Maybe in the next 5 years we would have to see.
make in kolkata newtown india
By this logic Mahindra, Hero, Bajaj, Amul, Bisleri,Britannia, Fevicol, Parle, ITC everyone is global😂
Read the vid title. *STARTUP*, does it ring a bell?
Just by selling its products in multiple countries you can't call it a global brand
Bhai there is a difference between well established companies and startups started 5-10 years ago
There is difference bw startups and legacy companies
Those aren't global companies. They're just a second rate companies
Wht about olx

I'll also make one someday 🫶 In this list Lenskart is definitely my favourite
