Bro basic principle you understand is dhirubhai amabani did business baded on government regulations and political situation and so u should focus on making videos based on policies there is no point making video on dhirubhai promote good not such videos bro
My request to Think School - Make the documentry on other big traders who started along with DERUBAI AMBANI that are collapsed or faded away with there mistakes - We need to learn from others mistakes.
open secret:- my grandfather had worked in exports at that time, he said he used to sell empty boxes of goods to get those credits to balance until he was caught but he suppresed everything and closed this work due to media, but he made real wealth in this empty box business becoz its like a monopoly at that time Still , he is the smartest businessman
Very very informative. I've seen documentaries on Dhirubai Ambani that superficially mention the businesses he did. But NO ONE explained the nitty gritty of him running those businesses like Ganesh did. I'm totally captivated!
You may hate the ambani because of jealously or cuz of politics but you gotta admit our economy needs ambanis and giants like it Edit: I don't support income inequality but if we don't make business powerhouses then we will always be praising tesla and Google
Totally agree many are shitting on jio that they will creat Monopoly so we should give satellite spectrum to starlink which is worst decision ever atleast give it to an Indian company with banned FDI on it otherwise this will suck India's blood
This video helped me to understand that being a step forward and establishing the company in all the industries is very important to create a brand and to survive in the long run

I have read two books on the life of Dhirubhai Ambani - "Against all odds" and "Dhirubhaism". It is truely inspiring to read his life story and I was really happy to see this case study. Another great video from Think School. Eagerly waiting for the second part of this 😊
There's a book called "The Polyester Prince " by Hamish Mcdonald. It exposed the actual business practices deployed by the trade cartel at that time. No wonders, with the might of money and power it was banned in India. We as a society resort to Hagiography rather than a true biography.
This is one of the most amazing & detailed documentary I have seen on TH-cam till this date on dhirubhai ambani. In the era of instant gratification by reels think school proves the world that in order to get audience attention all you need is just great content with great presentation. Kudos to Think school team 🎉
I don't understand how nobody else could see what Ambani's strategy (polyester part) was and replicate, there is no business masterclass and just simple common sense
I am no expert, but the basic reason he could do this and others couldn't was because he already had contacts and networks in the middle east, who he could export to easily with the conditions he wanted and get those import credits. Others simply didn't have the contacts there, you need to understand this was the 1960s and 70s where there was no internet, information reached a lot slower. Building network abroad was not easy for an Indian unless you had loads of money to go there often and make the contacts and build trust. Also, probably everyone didn't identify the potential of polyester and didn't get into the business early, by the time they got into it he was already an established player and had control in the market. And when he saw competiton growing, he was always a step ahead of others to switch to methods to get directly to his customers to sell the product and eventually build his own brand.
They are not saint. I am working in fashion and lifestyle reliance retail. We are in loss and since reliance retail is going for IPO, there would be mass layoff next month
Hi Ganesh! I really want to request you to make a video on respected Ratan Tata Sir. Your video on Jamsheth Ji Tata is my favorite. I show it to my students also. Please, if possible, make a video on such a legend.
Disappointed Ganesh. You didn't cover financial aspects of dhirubhai esp Cayman islands and stock mkt of 83. Controversy and Genius ness go hand in hand in case of RIL not to mention scale of operation

Mr Dhirubai was a genius businessman who made a fortune even when the monopoly business was run mostly by the Parsis community, built their business, and thrived during the British Era. Now, Irony Reliance has become India's biggest monopoly.
Being a business person I seriously take your research and note the points that you provide in your knowledgeable videos… seriously if people understand the value of this knowledge to a great deeper level then you will be more powerful in your implementation patterns of your business
Similar documentary on Lakshmi Niwas Mittal please. It will be very interesting to see how a boy from small town in India went on to become the steel king of the world.
Sir you explained so nicely that a starter would get a good idea about how to shape his/her journey, great work keep it up, From here-by you earned a consistent viewer, wishing for a part 2 as soon as possible with extra details.❤
Wew! Its interesting that Dhuribhai sir was already doing D2C in his time! and brands today are using same model of starting D2C and then opening stores.
Hi Thinkschool, As a subscriber, I deeply appreciate the valuable content you provide on TH-cam. I'm reaching out with a suggestion for a video topic: "In C2C companies like Rapido, achieving a balance between the number of customers on both the seller (drivers) and buyer (passenger) sides is crucial for success. However, during the initial stages of the business, maintaining this balance can be challenging. If there are too few drivers, passengers may have a poor experience, and vice versa. This imbalance can lead to negative feedback, impacting the business." I believe exploring how these C2C businesses handle this challenge in their early days or months would be immensely beneficial. This information is not readily available elsewhere, and I trust that Thinkschool would provide the most insightful explanation. I look forward to seeing a video on this topic or hearing a discussion in a podcast, especially if the founder of a related business is invited to share insights. Thank you

Thanks you so much @Think School for this video class
You won’t pay attention to it anyway
With this kind of animation + explanation, Think School is gonna go places!
Ganesh, you have reached the 'Vox Level' video, which you aspired to be.

Yes
It is also been shown in the movie 'Guru'

If our economy “needs ambanis and giants like it”, our nation would be an oligarchy dimwit, spirit of free trade lies in the roots of its people
@@Tea-ei1cl I do agree with you but we definitely need this giants if we ever want to grow our economy as every major economy has these giants
