      They can be fun for sure!

      Only if the trail is pretty smooth. They're great for jumping and parks and some urban assault, but they're hard to love when things get even moderately rough. Love the speed, though.

    I've been wanting this bike for a long time, but medium was always out of stock.
    Kingdom vendetta x3 was the same scenario (but when it did come in stock, prices raised)
    Almost did a radical bike Chili dog(but didn't want steel)
    Ended up doing a custom TI frame(soft tail) based on these bikes, and somehow ended up closer to geo of a chromag doctahawk(unknown to me till after I got my frame lol)

    • @TheLoamWolf
      @TheLoamWolf  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hope you’re enjoying the custom bike! 🤘🏼

      @@TheLoamWolf I am, thank you
      I love the feel of a hard tail, but wanted more compliance.
      Always felt Full suspension muted/dumbed down the trails too much...soft tail ended up giving me what I wanted.

    Bent cranks or pedal axles is just a fact of life on a HT you send .. (at least unless you use DH cranks then limited choice anyway in 73mm) then you’re just putting the stress through the BB and wheels .. something is going to give
    Far preferable to them snapping ..

    Not sure while reviewing a hardtail your tone continuously reflects one of “less than” because it’s a hardtail. No reason to include how it’s not a full sus/slight disservice to appropriately coming across how this bike will impact the market within its given segment. Of course just an opinion but relevant.

    great bike! but keyword "chainstay" ... my kona taro (29"!) has 419mm chainstays with lot of clearance. sadly not steel

    • @TheLoamWolf
      @TheLoamWolf  ปีที่แล้ว

      There are pros and cons to short chainstays for sure. This bike felt well balanced with plenty of mud clearance, but could have been more playful of course with a slightly tighter rear end

    Too expensive for a hardtail, there are much cheaper & very good quality hardtails out there, much much more 🤪
