Thank you Eric. I appreciate your predictions. You are great! You make predictions with no idea of what is to come. My hat is off to you. I enjoy your broadcast.
I like that there r concerts during the pre race shows for certain races. I think it definitely fits for the crown jewel races. I remember back around 2014-2017 or so there were concerts during pre race for the Daytona 500 and All Star race. I remember there was Jason Aldean, Luke Bryon, Brentley Gilbert, Lady A, Blake Shelton at a lot of these concerts and I thought it was fitting for the likes of those races. But if NASCAR wants have concerts before a race, I like that they’re finally getting other genres of music other than country music. Just seems like a lot of NASCAR fans or country fans in general can’t accept the fact that there r people who don’t like country music. But they definitely need to work on getting artists who r both really good and on the current trend. Like Pitbull and Ice Cube r quite old artists, but they’re both still really good and very well known. Where as Cypress Hill, *Snoop Dogg “WHO???”.mp4 plays.* like who else actually knows of em? Like if you’re gonna have older artists, have some well known people like say Metallic (who’s becoming back in the trends not only from them starting to make new music, but also by being played in Stranger Things, a very popular series) or Five Finger Death Punch or Breaking Benjamin for example. Or ya want trendy can do Motionless in White, Hollywood Undead, Falling in Reverse, etc. mainly naming off rock artists cause I like rock music, especially metal and alternative. Like get artists that r trendy, really good, will fill in seats, even if it means ticking off the older fans who’ll complain about whoever NASCAR gets to perform cause they’re not country related, and just not give a single f about what the older fans think.
Really only got one right Eric, but you were in the ballpark with some of your thoughts so it shows you we're not a long way off in some of the broader details and you definitely deserve some credit for that!
Don't worry Eric, my card wasn't super great either, went 1.5 for 4 and possibly 2.5 for 5 Correct I guessed Johnson would return to Project 91 (after forgetting what Project 91 was and penning McDowell to get the third Trackhouse team, glad I caught that early) and that Ty Gibbs would move up to Cup (though I said 18, not 54), so one and a half. It's possible I'll get another point with Todd Gilliland signing an extension but we won't know until later, but given some sparks and the third most laps completed I think he's got a decent shot assuming FRM doesn't rush Zane Smith Wrong For stuff I got wrong I put down Kyle Busch going to SHR in the 10 and that Noah Gragson would land a full time ride in the 16 car. You couldn't convince me back then that Busch would race for Childress, not a chance
I never thought that I'll watch you watching yourself. I also thought that Kyle would stay with JGR. I also thought that Gragson was going to win the championship (well, I was dead wrong). Me and my Dad thought the reason why Ty was absent cuz he was avoiding boos but when Marty Snider said that his father passed away, we immediately felt bad😞
I'm gonna say this Jimmie coming back I feel like, is Hendrick motorsport getting him up to speed with the new car to get him prepped for nascars trip to le mans
I'm thinking Jimmy wants to drive in NASCAR next year for two reasons. First, maybe foremost, he just likes to drive race cars. Second, he needs to feel the Next Gen car in action to be able to really understand the dynamics in order to help his new team. It's good you reprised your predictions. I think this is one of the reasons most of us feel you're an honest broker of NASCAR news. It may not always be 100% correct, but it's as close as you can get it. Someday, you'll have to make the home of NASCAR, a lot of the broadcast people are getting older.
You should review your playoff (championship) predictions again to see how accurate your standings for each round were to the real life playoff standings of each round (as well as your predicted champion).
I think the chances of Ty Gibbs doing another season in Xfinity would've been much higher without Kurt Busch's concussion. As it stands, Ty drove half the Cup season this year.
Eric. That Petty GMS deal was so out of left field because there were the rumors after the first project 91 race at the Glen that Justin Marks would have loved to bring Johnson in for the Coke 600 after he did an Indy 500 run on the same day.
Eric, there is a huge difference between your live audio and the audio of your video. So, when I adjust the volume to hear your video, then your comments blast at a much higher volume. Otherwise, fun video.
Hahaha Mr. Eric, love it when you just be yourself. Thank you for the video. I usually love your fashion butttttt that purple shirt thing... no no haha. 😀 yes you can get your 1.75 / 5 lol! I highly doubt that Joe will let Denny take the number 11 with him to his own team besides, he said himself he has no plans to race with his own team and he plans on staying with JGR until he retires.
