- Hello People,
Thank you for tuning in once again, this week's video I venture back up to Mt Tambourine to ride the old school DH trail, I've ridden here once before back on the analogue bike days, now.. life's much easier and trails are way more fun and accessible with the eeb.
I was stoked to catch up a couple of the eeb crew down there for a wicked morning of riding.

Sweet! 🤘
Good times👌🏼
@@tinman8888 ha ha, cheers Paul, was great to catch up mate. Always good times when the bikes are involved 👌🏼
Nice one Jules ... I rode there the 1st time I came up with the boys. It was in better shape back then 👌
@@DMMTB cheers Dave, yeah mate, I remember that… was in much better shape. I’d love to spend a month in there with a wippa snippa and a shovel!
Definitely due some love.
Old Tambo is such an awesome, gnarly track. You guys are making it look easy! And fast too!
@@itsalldhfromhere cheers Ken. It’s certainly not worth the drive down from up your way, but if you’re on the coast, it’s really quite fun and different for a change. We need to ride together soon mate, I need you to tow me into or off some shit 👊🏼
Nice one dude. Great stuff out there with the fellas. Enjoyed the hell out of it. Awesome to see Pete smashing stuff too in your vids lately.
Hello Ezz, we may need to go easy on that e-bike Pete bloke as he’s hitting 60 in a few years time and the MTB bones are getting a bit more weary. I won’t be towing Jules into too many more features in the future😂. Thanks for the hoy of confidence ! ( slow progression…though fun all the way )
@@EzzRidesBikes cheers mate. Yeah dude, Pete has really stepped up lately, fucking brilliant to see, he’s great value out on the trails.
Man that looked fun. Your GoPro placement and settings are bang on 👌. Shame about section 3 but there was def enough fun to be had regardless. Getting faster and smoother bro 🤌
@@mickfromrocky cheers mick. Definitely something different which is refreshing. Was a shame it wasn’t in the best of shape, but as always, I like to make the best with what I’ve got. Had to go back to setting GoPro my original way with the upside down camera. My chesty doesn’t allow me to have it in the sweet spot that yours does. Always trying to stay off the brakes more to keep the speed up (doesn’t always happen) I really appreciate everything and everything comment you make on my vids mate. It’s friends like you that really motivate me to keep putting them out.
Good vibes vid mate. Loved it. But, what the hell did you have for breakfast? You moved that tree like it was a twig! 💪
@@huckyeahmtb ha ha huck, cheers dude. No wheat bix here mate! Fueled on MTB life 🤘🏼
The Zen Satori Tambourine Mountain Experience; the entire trail to ourselves. I’ve gladly ridden there alone in spooky serenity when the entire trail was operational…didn’t go to well on the final steep section. Lots of big rubbley rocks from memory. If someone can convince the Goldy Council to lend me a mini excavator and chainsaw, I’d have a crack at clearing the downed tree laden trail…so that jbjmtb bloke could give it a crack to show us how it’s done. Plus ripping stuff up with a mini excavator sounds ok…to lay a MTB trail.
@@petergleeson7783 ha ha ha. I’ll have a chat to the council for ya Pete, you can get to work on it asap. Definitely needs some love, but nonetheless still fun times riding the old school untouched trails.
That used to be such a fun track. Haven’t been there in years
@@josephpsmithecheers mate. Even though it’s a bit neglected, it was still a nice little fun morning out in the bush.
Nice work Jules. I'm with you, a trail doesn't have to be gnarly and feature packed to be super fun. That was joyful..... when you stayed on the trail! When did you go clipless? Falling off at 7:22 was a bit special.
@@malmtb ha ha ha. Falling is far better than crashing! Hats off to the clipless guys…. Been there, done that! Wasn’t pretty!
