man this game has amazing music. i just bought Dodonpachi Ressurection in London and playing it in America so i've been keeping my eye on Cave's other manic shooters. Hopefully nobody will have to go overseas just to purchase these games; I hope they'll be released on XBLA in due time. Like Ikaruga and Radiant Silvergun were!

Espgaluda series were probably inspired by Psikyo's Gunbird series since the Espgaluda series look so similar.

Finishes 1st level, already has 2 extra lives....
Why are all the bullets blue in espgaluda 1 and 2?
Blue bullets = normal gameplay; you can earn green gems by killing enemies
Pink bullets = Kakusei mode (bullets are slower than normal and you can cancel them by killing enemies; consumes green gems)
Red bullets = Kakusei OVER mode (activates if you run out of green gems in Kakusei mode; bullets are much faster than normal)

The final boss in Espgaluda II is also the hardest boss alongside with DOOM from Ketsui and Hibachi from Dodonpachi series.
I don`t understand how to choose a character, I always choose one,and other comes in the place
Each character is their normal gender in normal shooting mode and opposite gender in slo mo mode. It isnt another character its just showing you their female or male form.

That last boss, was that considered the TLB?
the tlb of galuda 2 is actually shin seseri, in stage 5, and you only reach her if you've no-missed there. so most plays intentionally get hit to avoid facing her.
This version is for PC?
No,Arcade.But there is Phone version.
This game is so good, hope cave will port their games to pc. :(
