These are the sets I wish LEGO would do. I know UCS is already a thing, but the extra detail packed into these and the more advanced building techniques used is just incredible, and makes the building experience much better than a normal UCS set.

I was gonna comment "finally, an MTT with a fully technic deployment bay, it only took 23 years!" but saying that would undermine how all-out Caleb went engineered this design. The deployment mechanism is not only cool, but also excellently engineered. I've never seen a Star Wars MOC that has used technic this advanced, with three separate movements being controlled by one knob, as well as working in a safety stop to prevent the functions from being moved in ways that would break the model. Not only that, but the system had to be extremely compact to allow infrastructure for all the angles. This model is a whole new leap for Lego Star Wars MOCs, and I think it may be BV's best offering yet. The detail and functionality without compromise has raised the bar to new heights.
The 2007 MTT will forever be my favorite LEGO Star Wars set, and this to me just looks like the next step up. And it's close in price to what people want for a sealed 7662 MTT!
The one i had, did have a tendency for pieces to fall off.. but man was it fun tl build .. i wisj lego renting was a thing.. like borrowing a high end set for a substantially lower proce just to build it.
You have GOT to be absolutely kidding me!!!! This is beyond any feat of design I've seen to date. Time and time again I've said it: the BEST designers and builders don't even work for Lego. The guys at Lego are, at the moment upon seeing this, are banging their heads against a table. SIMPLY. AMAZING. 👏
As somebody who loves to collect Lego Battle Droid sets, this would make an awesome model for me someday. This model is almost cheaper than the official LEGO MTT sets. People are scalping them for over $1000. You could build this for around $800 and it looks much better and more acurate.

The angles are very accurate, would've been nice to get alternative build clone wars version with blue and light gray because these reddish brown colored bricks are known to crack easily with older batches.
It’s about time someone made an MTT with a working droid rack! It’s not perfect, but more than forgivable considering the accuracy of the rest of the model. Amazing model.

Amazing design! Maybe it is too much too ask, but the Separatist Version of the MTT would make this model beyond perfect, but it already is absolutely crazy.

Yeah it’s cool but honestly it’s kinda unfortunate that (having built it) it relies on a lot of awkward single stud connections that have to hold up a lot of weight. It suffers greatly from part leprosy. Idk I like it but I had to go back and redesign a fair chunk of it so that it would not fall apart. Particularly the droid rack. If you get it, be prepared to have to rebuild the plates that fall off as you add new pieces.

The 2007 MTT was amazing for $90 at the time. I miss when lego made sets like that.

One of the flaws of the B1 MTT was deploy time. This rack basically solves that issue while also keeping the number up.
