Well they just criminalized them again because the public is completely unsafe with rampant drug use in the streets of every city in British Columbia 😅
Basically they will be locking up the homeless addicts. Many of whom exist because of drug decriminalization. The government knew this would happen. Contrary to popular belief, they aren't incompetent. Evil geniuses would be a more apt description.
Canada under Trudeau has become a sorry place to live for some folks.
do you remember lambada. in Romania this song appeared which became a phenomenon. many were helped to give up drugs. this performer who came out of nowhere defeated what many doctors failed to cure the disaster of those people. someone had the inspiration to put this song in the dining room. and the miracle happened/the song is here th-cam.com/video/xg92PlqCEuw/w-d-xo.html
Looks just as bad as 20 years ago, homeless all over, drugs all over, decriminalized or not,,what sad shame
It's way worse now than it was 20 years ago.
imagine what it will be like in 1 year from now. oh man its gunna get bad at the pace that things are going
It's worse. About 20 yrs ago, I took my kids to the strip when they were just entering their teens. They were just entering the mixed up world of high school in BC. Some of their friends had questionable behaviors and I wanted to show them the avenues of bad choices. I had a documentary film maker friend, Our family ended up being a 'control' family in a documentary about the growing meth crisis- it's called Aftermeth. The kids turned out fine, never any drug issues, some of their friends didn't make it.
@flightographist that's a great plan, I did the same with my son for same reasons years ago,,good job
@@red7574 Ditto Brother.
The system is a parasite.
All those who take The Shot,or wore a Mask...Are the ones who push the government in this direction
So are the junkies
I see these people and I wonder if there is any hope for them? They just seem too far gone to ever come back to a clean life.
What a lovely neighborhood! Property values must be increasing daily!
Nope the Chinese love east hastings apparently. Because it's their favorite place. Never been to east hastings canada and never will go there it looks worse that upstate NY.
This entire 🌎 is disgusting!
Don’t say that, there are always two sides of everything
Meu coração parte em ver todo.tipo de pessoa jovens poderiam estar estudando trabalhando pessoas mais idade aposentadas em vez disso ficam vegetando porque Deus escolhem esse tipo de vida 😭😭😭
I live in a great little neighborhood. We take care of each other. There are places that are pleasant and normal.
They did the same at Portland in USA two years ago, a failure too.
China doesn't have this problem !
Yes it doesn’t
China has worse problems
This is disgusting
You walked right by my old apartment from the '80's. That big brown building right at Main & Hastings. It's the noisiest place I've ever lived. I had a corner suite on the fifth floor for a couple of years. Back then, the problem was hookers everywhere and drug dealers. I don't know how many times the same hooker asked me if "I wanted to go out", pretty well every single time I walked by. I took to walking a different way.
If people make money of this . They are part of the problem .
if people dont see this - youre a part of the problem touche
Honestly the streets are looking pretty clean from the last time I was there...
Ya cause they’ve dumped on other communities.
a lot are dead now!!!
Tourist season. The cruise ships are in town. Gotta keep up appearances for the money coming in.
Attempted interview, well done! Thats a first with the local channels on Hastings. You will do better if you try to document the Tranq wounds and bandages, thats whats really most popular. Try for close ups on that material, and just documenting the amount of Tranq users. If you are going to try to interview street people, you need to invest in a small microphone. NIGHT clips are more viewed by far, so shoot a few night walks in the same area. Dont ask if they are Homeless every time, as How they got there instead. Glad to find you channel, good luck, Sub'd!
I do appreciate your response, I will keep trying to do better
@@vancouverstreets420 Its excellent coverage, but, theres a bunch of channels all in the middle, if you get the good shots, and the content with some difference, you will of course get a much wider viewership. You really got some nice stuff there, just found your channel, looking forward to more. Cheers.
@@mrnobodyinvr9762 I promise, I won’t let you down for subscribing my channel, will post much better content with interviews
@@vancouverstreets420 You're doing fantastic, getting the interviews to workout on the street is pretty hard, and dangerous, be careful with that. What the views come from is the most extreme material. Nighttime walks, Tranq Babes, Tranq Wounds, etc. Longer clips get more views, more close to the action the better. Good luck, looking forward to more. Cheers
Was like that before, still the same after.
Your title is misleading brother, it was like this before legalization
No it wasn't, business were still open, now they're closed with dead people (walking dead' dying on their doorsteps.
@@gord6992 what business?
@@gord6992 the few businesses that closed on east hastings? were talking about the people that were dying before decriminalization compared to now, no change. It was just as bad before as it is now
@@arnold-t3y People are being murdered with poisoned drugs and you know it.
It has gotten worse
Welcome to any big city
They voted for it now eat it
How wonderful Trudeau and the Liberals, also NDP, have made this country eh?
I don’t think I’m glad anymore to call this my home town

well, not as bad as a lot of US cities...i was honestly expecting worse. that being said, it's still a very sad thing.
