Remember how we were told by the Government Policy Experts that de-stigmatizing drugs and addicts and accepting their lifestyle, would be good for our society when they were out trying to sell this easing of laws to the public? We were told that it would make the addicts more productive and that they would be more likely to seek treatment and even gainful employment. This is the actual real-life outcome of this insane theory that had no basis in reality. How will this social disaster ever be reversed and cleaned up?
Hastings would win hands down. These people are a community and actually try to be there for ine another. Kensington is a dog eat dog everyone's out for themselves type of place. They wouldnt come together and fight. The Dte addicts are very differnt Than America's addicts. I've been down. This strip a few tines and everyone has always been very nice. I even have made the walk alone at night when everyone says to not go, I really havent felt at risk down there the people are fairly friendly for the most part. With exception to the people experiencing meth psychosis, the people who have been up for days in meth are probably the vast majority in the Ines responsible for the assault crimes etc
Did all the stores and businesses in that whole area close down because the zombies took over the area, or did they close down first - and if so, why - and did the zombies take over because the whole area was already abandoned?
No, it's been rough down there since the 70s. You'd think it'd all be vacant but there are more operational businesses then vacant businesses. These people aren't all over the city, the vast majority are in a 12 block stretch of east hastings. Low track has always been rough
