    Our Twisted Development Yamaha YZ125 2 Stroke that we had built for a 3 bike 125 project shootout for the magazine. Although the Yamaha in stock trim is down on power in comparison to the KTM or Husqvarna that doesn't mean you can't push some extra ponies out of it. With the help of the Twisted Development crew in the engine department and TBT suspension we were able to make this Yamaha YZ125 stand a fighting chance up against our Project KTM 125SX and Husqvarna TC125 . Which bike came out victorious? You'll have to wait for the shootout video for that information.     Looks like a great build. How about doing a complete build video that includes real world pricing. Been riding for 40 plus years and I build a bike using parts that MXA, and Dirtbike use. But it's about time to do total cost listed as part of the build.

    Good grief, that premier listing was way too early... I thought I already missed it and I'm debating the effectiveness of it.
    48 hour maximum, that is about the limit of when I stop expecting to see these videos post each following morning.

    You have to do so much to the yz125 for them to be competitive.... Us common race folk need bikes that are as ready to race as possible and require little upgrades

    i am curious to which degrees you did the porting intake/exhaust.. i want to build something very close to this. should i port more for mid range and put a fmf pipe for top RPM or its better to put a porting in top RPM With the FMF pipe

    Shit shit i am to old now.. i will broken me all bones when i try it again after 40 years, but this hell 2stroke mashines are so nice.. i have learn MC (Motocross) 1979 on Maico 250 and 490.. shity time, now i must ride an scooter painfull end..

    Why do I only see Fmf shorty on 125s they increase bottom end an 125s have basically none an no one lugs them around. put a longer silencer an you'll get more top witch is all 125s have so why try to increase something that's not benefiting you?

LOL what a joke. I was there around 2002. The level of excitement for 4 strokes similar to the level of excitement for two strokes now.

      Cons is it’s heavy ass shit and I don’t have the expertise to do a top end job. Even an idiot can do a two strokes top end. My KDX220R is the most reliable bike in my garage.
