@@g.d.4436 I've also heard and experienced the "pro-circuit jetting" along with the works pipe is just as good as the Lectron. But I've never rode with a Lectron before. Maybe not worth the $450. Same reason to not go with the Vortex ignition. $780 for an increase of 1 HP an 1 Torc. Youll get more out of the bike going into the head ect ect.. idk man.. idk what I'm talking about.
More two stroke! And damn you AMA and FIM and the japanese manufactueres for destroying the sport in 2005. The whole dicplacement was a joke and should have been on a more equal ground! Put a 200 cc two stroke against 250f and 300-325 against the 450 and the sport will become more friendly for the average joe again! And the pro level will be awsome again ! A perfectly tuned two stroke is sexier than any four stroke! More aggressive style and the sound and smell is amazing!
If I had the money I’d dump a few grand into my yz125, I only have a pc pipe and that’s due to I crushed the stocker. I use my money on fresh tires for every race and fresh oils in the tranny and suspension. I see guys on the line with $1300 4 stroke pipes and all the other bells and whistles, doesn’t do jack when you have worn tires or your suspension is wasted. I’d drop a grand to have glen helen to myself for sure. I’ve had budds creek three times with three buddies and it is heaven.
I heard the stock reeds were just as good as vforce, I put the FMF set up on my sons an man she barks but nothing like pings 125!! That’s bad ass, pro circuit seems so much more throaty if that makes any sense! Almost sounds like our yz144
I would love to see a 2010 yz450f see if the 10 year old 1st year of fuel injection for Yamaha, do a build on it, and see how it keeps up with a 2020 yz450f
It's a pipe spec that was originally designed for Ryan Villopoto. It has a longer belly. This is because the consumer Pro Circuit pipe for the yz125 is not great and often loses power over stock. I assume this model would be trying to remedy that for their high end racers
The modification was done to the mid pipe to make it accelerate quicker, which is what Ryan wanted. The production pipe is better for most because it spreads the power out and pulls a little longer. I haven’t decided which one I like better.... both good, just different.
I have an 05 yz125 and I just bought 2016 450 SSS suspension: rear shock with linkage and bolts front shocks with axle bearings and spacers plus from break caliper and the triple tree with clamps bearings and races!!! What do I need to do to make the conversion??? Please and thanks

125 just doesnt cut it for me I have to have my yz250 I ride too many trails! on a 125 I gotta use the clutch all day long on the trails I mean for someone looking to have fun feathering the clutch all day have at it but life is much easier on the 250
most likely thickness of petals and shape of them. Depending on the model/year of your bike, they probably don't make the 4's since that's the newest version of them.
Ok you opened a can of worms when you said it's the fastest 125 l ever ridden and if you did that to the other 125s out there the Yamaha would be held back again but l really don't care about those other 125s just the Yamaha and l will be like that tell l die because Yamaha stayed in the game why all the other Japanese companies given up on there two strokes but l know it's all about the money and four strokes sell now days but who wants to spend 10.000 thousand on a dirt bike!!!
