    Thanks for sharing these beautiful homes! After watching your videos from last years parade of homes, we decided to make the trip to St George to check it out for ourselves. Amazing to see these homes in person! ❤ can’t wait to see what else you share.

      Such a beautiful area, and the homes are even better in person! We loved the Elevated View home, and decided to walk through it twice. Taking so many great ideas back to Iowa to start building our home here. ❤ Thanks for the inspiration!

    Really appreciate you taking the time and effort to make these Parade videos. I have to say that this home leaves me cold because it does not exhibit any of the traits, to me, that make Southern Utah a special place to live. No real view, no desert-type design, just a very large home in a square subdivision. The Stone Cliff and Kayenta homes are, to me, excellent examples of the remarkable beauty of this area.

    • @stgeorge
      @stgeorge  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I agree, this home is very functional and impressive mostly due to size and finishes, so it’s not traditional in terms of what’s normally expected from a parade home, but homes this size are usually in their own category.

    I really like the home next to it, the 90 triple crown lane one. What are some of the coolest homes with that design in the St. George area? That Tuscan style home is my favorite. I’ll buy it with your help one day! 😉

      @@stgeorge Iam looking to jump on some land and waiting on just the right time to purchase. Builders have over purchased land and because of current inventory not moving are interested on selling. Iam an Eagle in the sky waiting for the rabbit to make a run and then going to pounce. Folks overpaid for land and homes in 2020 and I am going to leverage todays buyers market. I plan on using one of the builders from the Parade of homes in St George. I will stay in concact with you when ready.

    Gosh, even with 6 bedrooms, I cannot imagine why they would need 2 huge laundry rooms!! I guess whomever would live here is just EXTRA about everything. Seems excessive but perhaps not if the house is filled with people

    • @stgeorge
      @stgeorge  ปีที่แล้ว

      Multiple laundry rooms (at least one on each floor) or often even several per floor are common around here. There are a lot of large families with several children or multiple generations within the same family living in these large homes, so it is nice for everyone to be able to do their own laundry, or for the cleaning staff to have access to multiple sets of washers and dryers to speed things up. But I agree, unless there’s a need for it, it seems excessive.

    You two make a great team. I just don't understand why anybody would want a home this large. I'm not sure you could even call it a home. More like a resort.

      My Aunt lived there for over 20 years.
      Winter is the best time of the year, down there.
      I lived in Carlsbad, New Mexico for a few years. I had a 7,000 sq ft house (a brick ranch style home) and I was glad to have a big house because it was most often too hot to be outside.
      Sunny 🌞 and 110* F day after day gets to be monotonous.
      Some people like dry, hot weather.
      My Aunt and Uncle had a big house boat on Lake Powell (Bullfrog). I could handle two weeks on the boat in that climate.
      To live in it is a whole different thing.

    • @stgeorge
      @stgeorge  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @Jason-xb3jh good points! I’ve lived here for the last 10 years and prefer hot dry climate over the winters we had in Chicago and the rain seasons when I lived in NC.

      Also lived in Park City, UT. Had a house in Moose Hollow.

    This house is way too big. You could get lost in it, and you will need three housekeepers just to keep it clean. Not the greatest lot either. My favorite builder in St. George is Split Rock custom homes.
