This probably has _everything_ to do with my being an Elementary munchkin at the time this game was new, but Bowser hasn't been intimidating to me since Super Mario 64. This remix and the artwork take me back to those days.
I loved everything about this. It was fantastic! The music sounded great and the art used was incredible. The music used for Bowser in Super Mario 64 has always been among my favorite Bowser related tracks in any and every Mario game so far. And you absolutely nailed it here. And the art, like I said, was amazing. It made me realize for the first time just how horrifying Bowser would look in person, and what a threatening villain he could actually be. I love this video so much! Thank you!
Finally, a music video on TH-cam that can give me goosebumps. I either have to watch "The Creator" or be really invested in a certain thought while listening to imagine dragons so I can get goosebumps at this point.
Saw you from some comments and i gotta say. This must be yhe best remix of this theme i seen Something about it keeps the vibe, and makes it 10x better, i also love the choice of instrunents and choirs Its like, prob the best remix of this exact theme i heard Good job (it also somehow feels like out of 2000-2010s abd i dunno why it feels this way)
Got chills up my spine when the climax came in; the driving clash of the symbols holding up those crisp staccatos on the trumpet, balanced out by that twangy counter melody, mm it hits so well. Great remix.
You replied to my comment on the N64 version 4 months ago. I'm happy with what you've made here, it keeps the soul of the original whist having use of modern technology. Hats off to you and keep up the good work.
This is what it genuinely sounded like when we were on our way to face Bowser for the first time all those years ago on the famous koopa road! A phenomenal remaster thank you.
This is a really good remake, and I really love the artwork by Benjamin Weustemaal! I like how the little twangs are kept in during the main portion of the song, those always felt crucial to the song as a whole.
@@BryanELx No problem! By the way, could you tell me what is the name of the rythmic instrument with a half-wood, half-string like tone that plays in the most of your remake and the original as well?
Super Mario 64 is one of my favorite classic Mario game's from the N64. The music in the game was amazing & the level design is magnificent, This remix of Road to Bowser track is sinister but has that cool evil vibe, Love that choir and the indian percussion in the remix 💖. How is the SCVIV: Dracula's Theme track coming along?
@@GamingNostalgiaRemastered Just wanted to make sure. I know that your remix of Dracula's Theme (SCVIV) is going to an amazing remaster indeed since October is just around the corner plus Super CastleVania IV is celebrating it's 30 year anniversary, Maybe the track is in the WIP stage, Looking forward to hear it when Dracula's Theme is finished 😎🙏. Before I go, What DAW and VST plug-ins do you use in your VGM remastered tracks?
@@GamingNostalgiaRemastered I'll check that out. The DAW i'm using is Mixcraft 9 Pro Studio, It's an excellent DAW and the instrument's, synth & VST plug-in's are also excellent, I'm planning on using another DAW of my choosing, My second DAW of choose is Reaper then i'll later on upgrade to Cubase Element's 12. Plus i checked out the DAW you use & i think you should upgrade to Cubase Artist 12. All version's of Cubase 12 has new feature's plus you don't need to use the dongle in Cubase 12, So consider upgrading to Cubase Artist 12. It's really worth the upgrade 😉👍.
the sound of the Yoshi djembe in there is very faithful to the original, though it robs this piece from being a great ennio morricone ecstasy of gold style epic... maybe you ought to try that without the yoshi perussion and more decorum around the brass and the vocals... you're onto something. but don't get me wrong, it's masterful work and it is very faithful to the original.
Personally I think the Tabla percussion is crucial to the dramatic atmosphere of this composition. But who knows maybe someday I'll make a more chill version...
I always loved this song as a kid, it made me feel like I was the hero defeating anything in my way to beat the big bad
Not by the hairs of our chinny chin chin.

Ya esta...me suscribo
Awesome remake, filled with epic mood. I think it would be even better with much more bass at the beginning :)
Maybe someday I'll make an improved version 2.0 😎
Saw you in a comment section promoting this song and expected this remake to suck. Boy was I wrong, this is fantastic. Keep up the good work!

@@GamingNostalgiaRemastered Anytime. You know where I can find the animation used in the video? I clicked the link, and I couldn’t find it.
I'm sorry. The animation is exclusive to the channel.
Eh that’s fine. I just wanted that logo out of the way since I think it’s kinda distracting from the animation. Still, your pretty underrated.
This is very nice. I'm listening to it while working on "Mario is of the devil."

Do y'all suppose Mario P.I.M.P. (Pooped in my pants) when he saw Bowser for the first time?
Mario isn't afraid of anything. Especially not from a big p*ssy like Bowser.
