- Hours after the Manipur Police registered a First Information Report (FIR) against a personnel of the Assam Rifles for "obstructing a public servant," the Indian Army released a statement on Wednesday, 9 August, saying that these are "fabricated attempts to malign image of Assam Rifles."
Videos of women blocking the operations of the Indian Army have also come to light. In one such video, an elderly woman can be seen asking Army jawaan about which community he belongs to.

In any conflict between two groups, if you are trying to broker peace and maintain neutrality, you will always be seen as siding with the smaller/weaker group..this is true even in arguments between siblings. The particular video of two women asking for their identity proof was directed against some women riding in the AR vehicle, not on the AR personnels. Civilians in AR convoy travelling from sensitive district of Churachandpur to Imphal at this times is bound to raise questions.
AR personnels in their casper vehicle blocking police personnels from launching a counter operation after the brutal murder of 3 meitei villagers in their sleep, cited they were protecting the buffer zone.
What happen to AR's jingoistic, duty bound responsibilities when armed militants from one community breached that same buffer zone, hacked and fired multiple bullets killing three people in their sleep?
They are neutral, trying to prevent more bloodshed between the two communities. The communal state police are the ones to be condemned who attacked the villages in Hills districts along with meitei radicals. There are videos to prove as well.

I would like to convey a few words , if I'm rude kindly pardon me . As a citizen of Manipur , I will obviously know what's happening and I request people from other places to not speak against the people with just one video . As humans no one would speak against somebody for no reason . The citizens of Manipur spoke against Assam Rifles because they are not doing their job properly , I know maximum of you will not believe this but the reason why some of us are still unharmed is because of our brave youths who has sacrificed their dreams and aims just for our safety , all they did was fire tear gas bombs shells and hurt our people , you'll say it's because we are not respecting their actions but no, it's because they're not taking up actions and so we ourselves have to do what it takes . And so , they have no right to stop us if they are not going to do their job and they cannot stop us either . I'm very disappointed at the false accusations . Manipur is burning and so please don't try to add more feul to the situation , try to go deep down the roots of the crisis before speaking . Both the community is suffering and I know neither of us wants this war , so let's all try to be together instead of spitting hatred towards each other because that's not going to help why should the innocents of both community suffer because of the actions of the government ? If any of my Kuki brothers and sisters are reading this I hope you guys will also agree . I don't suppose any hatred towards anyone , I have friends from the Kuki community and I hope they'll all be safe and peace will restore in our state and we will live in harmony once again . So pls don't upload anything without knowing clearly because that can cause great damage without you realising.
