What powers the battery tester itself? How can we tell that the battery tester is still working? It is very handy to have at home an instrument that does this test! And not understanding how the battery tester is powered makes me feel insecure about the whole tool. Thanks.
I just ordered one from aliexpress. I have lots of old batteries in my supply and I wonder if they're still useful despite being so old. Batteries are awesome!

The digital LCD design one works better and last a lot longer because it have no moving analog meddle part.
