Good to know this is now available. We currently charge at the office once a week. But we only do laundry on sunny days. We are getting an evaluation to add 2 more powerwalls this coming Tuesday. Great video!

Thanks for watching! Office charging is nice too. I'd love two more Powerwalls but super happy with my single one for now.

so the best way is add massive amounts of solar to property and fast charge

Thanks for watching! Solar is great but charging is limited to about 12 kW with the standard Tesla Level 2 wall charger. Fast charging (Level 3) is not possible for residential locations that I know of.

Really cool video! So if you charge the car, the power wall is not being charged. Maybe one day just car battery will be enough for both.

Thanks for watching! If Powerwall state of charge is lower than my set % reserved for backup, then it will charge before the car. I've seen a message once or twice now that said "charge on solar paused for Powerwall priority".

If you wish to travel, this won't work though.

Thanks for watching! Yeah, this was just an experiment. For traveling, the Tesla Supercharger network is the best!
